SVVV University review

I am a first-year student pursuing a B.Tech course at SVVV university. For this course, you should have more than 70% in your 12th class and good marks in JEE. Don't worry, if your JEE score isn't good, you can also get admission by taking their entrance test which is really easy, only basic knowledge of science, mathematics, and English is asked.

The course curriculum is highly relevant, the practical knowledge has been given the topmost priority. The faculty is also good, they are all highly qualified in their particular teaching subjects, but I would say that the faculty: student ratio is not appreciable. The exams are taken semester-wise, and there are also mid-semester tests.

Internships are compulsory for every student, the students in their final semesters only have their internships. In the final semester, you have to give your weekly report to the college about your work, and your internship affiliate also gives monthly reports to the college to add up to your resume.

The highest packages have been 24 LPA, whereas the average packages are around 5 - 6 LPA. The students in their final years are eligible for the campus placements. Many big companies, including the MNCs, come to SVVV in search of young talents. Always more than 75% of students get offers in campus placements.

As per my personal experiences, the fee is really high, although I do appreciate the scholarships. There are many types of scholarships given to the students such as, on the student's class 12th marks, on their semester exam marks, on the caste basis, etc. There are also teaching jobs for the students doing M.Tech.

The life at the campus is amazing, the campus has a big parking area, there are two cemented basketball courts, a large ground for outdoor sports, like football, cricket, etc. Each department has its own particular buildings, although the size of labs of some subjects like physics lab is not appreciable. There is a decent library. Also, a Cafeteria, to hang out with friends. The classrooms and hallways are always kept clean. There are many clubs divided into many categories like sports, cultural, non-cultural, etc.
