Entrance Preview

GATE, Score: 9.1/10, its good college in terms of study, knowledgeable faculty, good placements, lot of facilities to students.

Internships Opportunities

For M.Tech CS, NITT not allow students to go for internship. We already have lot of facilities provided for research. Stipend used to get like Rs 8000/- per month.

Placement Experience

Placements almost 100% in 2010 when we attend for campus selections. Average pay used to be 6LPA for software field. For M.Tech, it used to be 18 students and we all got jobs and really felt so happy.

College Events

There used to be cultural events and college day activities for fun. College management used to invite good persons as guest to motivate students a lot. this is really good and motivate others.

Campus Life

Campus is really so spacious to roam. Labs used to update with new technologies to get more knowledge. Sports are big point to highlight in NITTrichy.

Alumni/Alumna

NITT Alumni is good and it initiate more social activities and other stuff.I used to get lot of news in emails about activities in alumni. It is really good to contribute for the same. I am looking forward to contribute. Seniors are more helpful for preparing campus selections, it become a routine in NITT that seniors guides juniors in all aspects.

Faculty

Faculty is too good and very knowledgeable in their area of expertise. Can't think of anything bad about about faculty as they are so knowledgeable and they are available for most of the time to share their knowledge.

the Placements of my College are good as the connections of our good so top recurters came like amazon,tata,mahindra the highest package is of 75 lakh per annum and average package is of 8 lakh in our batch placements anount is less but now goodPercentage of students getting placements is 85 percent From which semester students become eligible for campus placements lthird year last semester.

For mba they take cat score only and I am not sure of cutoff but it might range between 75 to 80 for general 70 to 75 for ews and obc .
