Remarks
I appeared for the SNAP exam which made me eligible for the MBA program of SIDTM. The application form can be found on the college's website very easily. The fee was Rs.2000 per college. No reservation benefits are availed. The admission process was online on zoom.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose SIDTM's MBA program because it was clear that I wanted to do MBA in the Telecom industry and it is one of the good colleges offering the same course. The faculties here are very helpful and teach considering that every student has a different pace. The faculties are highly qualified. The majority of them have a Ph.D. degree. Exams are conducted every trimester. The faculty-student ratio is 1:30.
Internships Opportunities
Airtel, Nokia, Ericsson, and many other telecom companies visited the campus. The internship stipend was around Rs.20000 per month. The roles for which the companies came consisted of analyst, intern, specialist, etc. The college also gives opportunities for corporate projects which is a great way to learn new things.
Placement Experience
Students become eligible from the 2nd trimester for internships and from the 5th semester which is the second year, for final placements. Many companies visited the campus like Ericsson, Nokia. A total of more than 100 offers were made. The college says that we have been able to achieve a placement of more than 90%.
Fees and Financial Aid
The cost of the study was around Rs. 8 lakh/annum which includes the tuition fee only and not hostel fees. The fee usually increases by Rs.25000 every year due to an increase in cost. I got a job with a stipend of Rs.25000 and I availed no scholarship or financial assistance.
Campus Life
The annual fest is conducted in the month of February. The college was an offline as well as an online library where all the required books are available. I have also seen that the classrooms are well equipped with the new technologies and products. In the campus, we have a badminton court, cricket stadium, etc. I am a part of the sports club of the college.
Interview Experience
The topic of GD was "Aatmanirbhar Bharat" and we were asked questions about the finance minister of India, the budget of 2020, what changes we would have made, etc. The interview consisted of hygiene questions and a few technical questions related to aptitude and problem-solving. I enrolled myself in TIME institute to prepare myself for the same.
