If you focus on classes, then no need to study from hardly. In one go, students can score well just with class notes. All the faculties are well qualified with a PhD degree from IITs or NITs. However, the semester exams and marks distribution criteria are a little tough.

After finishing PhD in NITT, you will be getting a job for sure from one of reputed institutions. Placements wont be there for PhDs, however, you can go and search for jobs/higher studies and which will be assured for sure.

Campus life is bliss. You can enjoy the most just by going on a walk on the roads of NITT. Greeny campus will sooth your mind. There are 20+ clubs run by students which are being active including dance, arts, music clubs. Interms of books and journals, you will get all materials necessary for your research here!

Compared to other institutes fees is high.PhD Scholars are given options for scholarships including HTRA, PMRF and from other funding agencies. After completion of PhD from NITT, a job is assured in some institute and there is high chance to get Post doctoral fellowships in foreign universities.

NITT is equipped with all essential facilities. To say few,1. Huge library with thousands of books and access to research articles2. Almost all the buildings are facilitated with Wifi3. Good lab setups4. Sports complex (indoor and outdoor games)

I was staying in hostel for an year. Hostel life is good and fun-filled at NITT. PhDs will be given a single room. Mess-food will be very good and there will be more than 8 caterers who provide food. During Covid times, mess wasnt that good. However, now they are doing well. Interms of rent, You can save some money if you opt for a flat outside on a sharing basis. You will get a flat for rent from 4k to 7k

Written test will be there which covers the core domains of the course. Once the test has been cleared, you will be shortlisted for interview. Inteview panel will be all the faculties from the department and they will be judging you based on your domain knowledge and research interests.
