Remarks

Good Placement, low fee, ranking of UBS was good as compared to other colleges in which I got a chance. Since it did not seemed like a right time to invest lot of money and take a hefty loan i decided to opt for it.

Course Curriculum Overview

Syllabus is fine however exam pattern needs some upgradation especially in Statistics and Computer. Since I am in first year so far I haven't been provided with any industrial exposure. Some of the faculties are good some aren't. I really like the teaching pattern of Monica Bedi who is the professor of Marketing.

placements are descent. HDFC offers PPO, some of the prominent recruiters are Deutsche Bank, Ernst & Young, Cognizant. UBS has great alumni network and a number of alumni are in very senior position in reputed organization so they come to hire from UBS

College Events

There are 3 cells and a number of clubs some of which are PR Cell, Placement cell, Alumni Relations, Environment cell and Consulting club. Students can join cell and clubs as per their interest. Webinars are organized almost every weekend where we get a chance to meet senior executives from various MNC several fun activities are also organized such as virtual race and milap etc.

Campus Life

So far am attending online classes so i can't comment about it. But I have heard that the campus is lush green, Punjab university have one of the largest library in India. But it is difficult to get a seat in hostel.

DY Patil college is best for placement and coding environment

Placement Experience:

The placement is good in Y Patil College. Many companies are come for hiring a student. Most of students are placed in fourth year from fourth year. The companies are started to come in campus and higher students. Also, in a third year, Student want to get internship in any companies from campus and from outside of the campus internship is compulsory in third year last semester The company are come in my college are Amazon Google infosys Microsoft WIpro and other companies hire students The highest package of last year of AI and DS department is a 42 lakh higher by Amazon is the highest package of the last year placement. Also, the average packages are six lakh. The percentage of getting Student place in companies are nearly 92%

The college is best for placement and club activity

Placement Experience:

In my branch, the placement is good In 2025, 150 students are placed in Wipro, infosys, Amazon and Google like companies the minimum package is seven lakh. Also in my branch one Student it is placed in Amazon with 47 lakh rupees package in college. They already prepare Student for interviews and aptitude test. The placement cell is conduct aptitude test with the Google for students for each semester in that they test our coding skills, English skills and attitude test from that they give us a detail information in which skills are lacking and on which skill we want to work

Course Curriculum Overview:

Strong academic legacy with expereinced faculties and balanced content- preparing you for future studies and entrance exams and olympiads. very much strict, i would say not needed. somehwere you may experience baised behaviour; but when you are focused on gaining knowledge then these things dont matter as its only a matter of three years. Relevance of course is there but for applying for further studies not for that much for job prospects, if you want atleast a decent salary job.

From the 7th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placement drive. Companies that often visit campus for placement include ONGC, GAIL, IGL, IOCL, NRL, SAIL, Hindalco, Carin oil and gas, Reliance, Vedanta, Tata Power, Nyara, Tata projects and many more oil and gas industries, metal industries. The highest package: is 24 lpa ( given by ONGC) and the average package: is 13 lpa for Fire and safety profiles. Usually, all students get placed in the placement drive. I will do the job in the company I got placed in.

Placement Experience:

I have rarely seen companies coming to our college for placement purposes for our course but I have seen companies coming for BCOM and BCA. I don't know about my course as I am currently in my second year. The percentage of students getting placements are veryess as my friend from third year said that out of 150 students only 10 students got placed this year which is very less compared to other colleges. My plans after getting the degree is if I got a job in any of the it company I will do it for experience and side by side I am planning to pursue my education in MSC CS
