Remarks

Tier 1 Government college, NIT tag. One of the best technical colleges in north India. Great placements as well, especially for Computer Engineering and Information Technology. A vintage college which has existed now for over 50 years

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum was quite balanced and organised. I was doing a computer course so it had more practical importance than theoretical. A lot of focus was on practicals and making sure the students are learning According to the industry standards.

Placement Experience

Placements were satisfactory in the college. Most of the students were placed in the college. Specially, the CS IT students were really happy with the placements since the top software firms visited the campus. Placement department handled the process smoothly. The alumni network of the college has been well known. A lot of them are still there in my contact.

College Events

Campus Life was impeccable. There were national level cultural and technical fests in the college namely Confluence and Techspardha respectively. The participation was from most of the renowned organizations in North India.

Campus Life

Sports facilities were really good in the campus with a cricket ground, tennis court and basketball court. Wifi was available in the hostels along with LAN. In the campus, there was free wifi available a well.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel rooms were quite spacious. We got single rooms second year onwards. So it went on to be quite convenient for the students. Hostel facility is very easy to avail in the college as there are ample hostels and rooms available.

Hostel Fee: INR 136000 per year

Average college with low placement

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for campus placement in their final year. The companies which visited are spektra system, tcs, subrol ,rise zonic the average package is around 4LPA and the highest package is around 8LPA .the percentage of students getting placement is low as most of the students could not pass test. My plans after getting BCA degree is to pursue MCA in a better college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The university has both course of anaesthesia and operation theatre together and benefit is the attached hospital to the college for the clinical posting and wide exposure to the medical field in ICU and NICU postings with the professional doctor and nurses and have well qualified assistant professor. Exams are not difficult but had a moderate level and the timing is 3 hours for the exam both practical and theoretical

A walk through Nit kurukshetra

I choose this college cause, I am interested in this branch and I don't have any prior interest in any particular colleges, in this college I am getting the particular branch I am interested in,while there are few colleges which are providing me same branch but they have some limitations like there infrastructure is bad or crowd is not that wonderful like here people are generous and motivated you can't find the same everywhere. Good college for electrical

The admission is only based on JEE Mains Rank. This is a decent college and thus requires decent ranks for good courses. JEE is conducted nationwide by the NTA every year. The process was smooth. You have to first select colleges. You get an allotment and then you verify the docs....Read More
