Entrance Preview

JEE, because i was interested in engineering and wanted to have a career in it. the admissions was very fast and easy and the faculty helped out allot.

Course Curriculum Overview

The courses are very easy and much easy to understand. brings out very keen interest in the topics. dhole patil college of engineering has a great way of teaching this course to the students. many life examples are used which helps the students to co-relate with the topics.

Internships Opportunities

yes the college provides internships. which is very helpful as we get an idea of how the technical world is out there. companies like amazon have been in the college for recruitment

Placement Experience

very good placement and job opportunities. companies like amazon have been in the college for recruitment. tcs and many other companies too come here. packages too are very good and lot of placement training is given. international companies too come and job opportunities in abroad too is of high possibility.

College is into these celebration of events and every event is celebrated with loads of fun. Even there are events of the department as well as the college too.

we spend half of the time in lab as we are given more of practical knowledge which is gonna help us with the future. it's fun being in the lab and there is no sort of stress or hectic day present in it. very good computers and teaching staff.

Faculty

Dhole patil college of engineering has a great way of teaching this course to the students. Very friendly staff and helpful both in academy and in non academic things. teachers have a very different way to teach which is very interesting and students don't get bored much

placements start in 7th - 8th semester . Companies like wipro cisco and TCs etc visit. Average package is 4-5 LPA , and highest I could say 9 to 10 LPA .. my plans would be- if not got high paying job on campus I will try off campus too..

Placement Experience:

In my college students become eligible for campus placements from 7th semester and every year many companies come for hiring. Recently companies like TCS Accenture Cognizant Hitachi JSW Group Philips Axis Bank and some startups also visited so we get both IT and core chances. As per the latest data the highest package was around 24 LPA and the average stays around 6 to 6.5 LPA for most students and the lowest offers start from 3.5 LPA so it depends a lot on the role and company. Many students get placed but it mostly depends on skills performance and branch so it is not guaranteed for everyone. I feel the college gives decent chances but we also have to do our own preparation because competition is high. If I dont get placement from campus then I will try off campus also because there are many openings outside specially in IT. Overall placements are good for this level college and since companies keep coming for drives students who prepare properly usually get at least one offer.

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. As i am lateral entry student this College was my first preference in Cap round after diploma , as i wanted to do specialization in this field not in mechanical enigeering , not in any other engineering , but in automobile and DPCOE was offering this course so DPCOE was my first preference as i was searching for automobile engineering specifically. Admission process was pretty simple after diploma , when lateral entry cap round begun i filled online admission form of DEGREE and i listen DPCOE as my first preference and in first cap round i got this college, I received my allotment , then i for offline confirmation i did was my admission process which went smooth , fees were to be paid also we are allowed to pay in installments so . Your Life in DPCOE

So , basically any college you go it will be the same let it be the teachers or students. I had chosen other colleges too, but this one got assigned in CAP round so took it. Others colleges had little higher cutoff so didn't got into them. But overall as per my experience every college is the same. Just make a friend group in beginning a good one. And make sure you help each other grow as a person and in studies too. That way you and your friend will get great success...Read More
