Remarks

Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Technology (MGIT)is accredited by NBA and is one of the best college under JNTUH affiliation. The location was in my home town and I joined here. The admission is by EAMCET and plus 2 Science eligibility with minimum of 50% marks.

Course Curriculum Overview

B Tech Mechanical Engineering subjects are mainly related to Mechanics, Kinematics, Thermodynamics, Material Science, Structural Analysis, Electricity etc. The practical classes are very good along with theory.

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 450000 per year

Placement Experience

Placements are good with 80%. Wipro, Techaspect, NTT Data, Mahindra & Mahindra, Amazon, Apps Associate, Polaris, Cyient, MPhasis, IBM, Infor, Satven, Dell, etc are major recruiters on-campus placements

Fees and Financial Aid

The total fees comes around INR 450000 for B Tech programme. The fees are revised yearly. There are Merit and Need based scholarships in addition to Government based scholarships and financial assistances for students.

Campus Life

Life in MGIT is worth an experience. The class rooms, hostels, and library are all best. Library has a good collection of 51,924 books, 12,278 Titles, 236 International journals, subscription for 390 e-journals etc.

Placement Experience:

From 3 -1 only students become eligible for campus placement and the companies visited for our college was Jpmorgan,google,microsoft,Infosys capgemini tcs etc.. The highest package in our college was 54 lpa from Microsoft and average packages were 5-10lpa the percentage of getting placements by students is 75% and my plans after getting the degree is to get a good placement in a MNC's.

My campus life and experience

Placement Experience:

Until know i got some info among the placements and internships is that yes, this college is providing campus placements good as some of the recent companies were Infosys, Capgemini,and other companies drive has been conducted in the college for the 4rth years. So the placements are good here no worrys too. But the LPA is less a bit like in the past years as the software industry is getting more hard to get jobs.

They mostly consider students from Cse background but even allow others if they have skills . Accenture and cognisant will hire many students and there pay would be around 5 lakh per year for service roles . If they take for other roles then the salary is more 60-70% people get placed , some prefer doing masters even though they are placed

I got an answer rank of 7381, I have chosen only ece subject in all the colleges which I have applied in osanima university, CBIT, vasaviengineering college, Gokaraju rangaraju college. Also other top 10 colleges.I got seat in this college but I prefer CB.IT college more than our college and also vasavy.College is equal to MGIT. After applying for these colleges, I got to know that Vienna is not a good college is equal and Mania university is a good college, but faculty doesn't care about students according to seat in CBI t and mjt, please. Prefer cbit. The admission process in this college is simple. You should get seat through t. G eapcet convenient quota, and then you should pay 10000 to TG eapcet website which you will be Refunded in 3 months. the admission fee of the college is 10000 and the fees of the semsester should be paid before joining the college....Read More

this is the best college for the students who are very auspicious and determined

i did applied for various colleges like chaitanya bharathi intistute of technolgy,vasavi ,vjr college etc and this college i got admissions in vasavi college and mgit but in vasavi college i got civil branch in which i don't have intrest and got IT department in mgit so i choose mgit over vasavi college and i got rejected by cbit, cvr college because i got eamcet rank which are not enough to get admissions in those colleges .In MGIT ,the minimum rank for the cse is 6000 and for ece and ET's the rank is 11000 for general category and we also have B category in which the students can get admissions through there jee mains percentile...Read More
