My Journey with RSMT

I chose RSMT because the first thing that we, as graduate students, see in colleges is how is the college education which is very good in RSMT as compared to other colleges in Varanasi. And secondly, the atmosphere here is very good for the students studying because there is little personal touch-up between the professor and the students. Apart from this, it is our seniors that we do not feel like we are seniors in college but they guide us as if they are our elder brothers. The canteen here is not good but other than that this college is very good.

My BCA course is 3 years undergraduate course. I wanted to do B.Tech, but I did not get any good college, at that time I chose B.C.A because according to me this course would save my time and my goal of learning programming would have been fulfilled. The teaching staff here is very good like our professors who guide us personally and recognize our weaknesses and strengths, which is rarely found in other colleges. Here your exams are on their own time like other colleges, and they were exams are very easy to pass. Just focus on your studies and pay more attention to the things of the professor. Here the professor solves the problems of the students even after the college.

The placements in this college is not so good, the salary package is quiet low. But please attend the placement interview of college, It helps you to gain experience about how much a interview can be easy or difficult for you. The college helps you to gain employability skills through session from different different companies through which you are eligible and confident enough to sit in off-campus placements.

The fee structure of RSMT is quite affordable as compared to other colleges in Varanasi. You can compare the fee structure with any other college in Varanasi with the facilities provided. Here you can get scholarships offered by the U.P. government, in which the college staff also helps you. Here you have to pay the fees according to the semester, but there is a relief in this that if you do not have enough money then you can also pay 25% fees before the semester examination. But the campus placement in this college is not that good, they only provide you 10K to 25K in college placement of BCA which is quiet less. But it is not the fault of the college.

Campus life here is good but not so happening. You won't have any fest or programs, library is there but you can only borrow books from it. In library you can find all types of books related to curriculum but the is library cannot be used for reading. They organize sports and extra-curricular activities in the college but not every student gets the chance to prove himself.
