Admission is provided through BCECE. PT and Mains. Atleast 60 % is needed to be scored in mains exam for securing name in merit list. Best in Bihar for Engineering, specially for Bihar Residents.
Course Curriculum Overview
Curriculum is at par with NITs. 5 branches are there: Civil,mech.,elect,ece and computer . The institute offers full-time Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) degree programs in disciplines of science and technology viz. Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering.
Internships Opportunities
Internship is provided by college but mostly in government organisations or PSUs. Stipend depends upon the organisation and duration of internship.
Placement Experience
The college has a placement cell led by Prof. S Shekhar . More than 50% of students have got selected in public and government organizations. Many of them have done their masters and Ph.D from IITs/IISc and abroad. Some students have cracked IES/IAS exam and rest are working in an MNC/Software field .
College Events
Bhagalpur college of Engineering organizes Technoriti as its annual festival every year from 2012. Started with the name AAGHAZ the festival comprises Parakram the annual Sports meet, Umang the Cultural festival and technical fest. Later in 2013 the name aaghaz was changed to Technoriti by the student organisation which additionally included Sangam as the Alumni meet of BCE Bhagalpur.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure can be termed virtually nonexistent as 6 thousand rupees per year is collected at the time of exams for tuition fee. Around 15 thousands is charged for admission and first year fee. Hostel and mess are subsidised by the government and charges are very much affordable to poor students.

Hostel Facilities
Excellent. Four boys and two girls hostel are there in campus itself. Enough rooms are available for all students. Single rooms are available from 3rd year onwards. Each hostel has its own mess where subsidised food is available at very less cost to stude

Exam Structure
Exam structure is rigourous and frequent. You have to attend all lab sessions. There are about 96 internal exams and viva where you have to fight for every mark in each paper over the course of 4 years. Absolutely not chilled out for sure. Students are in
