Remarks

Convenience to reach and standard of academics was good. Many of friends were also there which help me get brief about the college campus and it's facilities.Regarding the selection of IT branch initially i thought it would be the easy one.but later only i understood that all are same with difficulty.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum was not up to the mark. Even after finishing the course we Need to master any other specialist course for pursuing career. industrial exposure was average. Some of the faculties were awesome as they had experience but some fresher's also were there who lacked communication skill.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 200000 per year

College Events

Campus life was also good. Have enough room for friendship and all.But college was strictly monitoring if any misusing or immoral activities were going on. Festivals also were going on very well along with other special celebrations.

Campus Life

It was also an average level infrastructure. the campus comprises of almost all the required buildings but all at a half baked stage.Later on some additions they made which made it look beautiful. The library ground labs all were quite good

Course Curriculum Overview:

Data Science is a rising field in computer science. It has lots of oppurtunities in todays world and easy compared to other fields, which made me choose data science. The curriculum consist of various computer programming languages including Python, R and so on which are vital in the field of data science. There are also experienced faculties for teaching of the programming languages. I personally felt that lab hours are not adequate and also the available hours are also not properly utitlised by some teachers. At the end of each semester we have exams and results are published soon as the exams are over, no lagging compared to other universitites.

OUR COLLEGE LIFE

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Chemistry is one of the main subject in whole science and it contains practical along with theory.I preffered this subject because I don't really into bookish learning.It offers skilled learning also.Exam timing was relevant for a paper 2.30 hours and 60 marks for main subject and 80 mark for language.

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
