Remarks

Good review, great placements,very good reputation, suggested by some of my seniors. Very good location and great faculty, nice exposure, many club and student activities. Syllabus was great and it was a deemed university.

Course Curriculum Overview

Extremely updated on a yearly basis. All facilities were great. Specially Kale sir, Santoshi Madam. practical experience was great. We had student driven cells for great exposure and that helped in developing leadership skills.

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 80000 per year

Placement Experience

The opportunity used to be abundant. There used to be so many companies visiting the campus. Some of the top names are Infosys, Ericsson, Colgate, Accenture, TCS. The Alumni network has always been extremely helpful and very fair in getting placement for the college

College Events

Campus Life was great. We had many events which used to be conducted by the students. The yearly cultural festival was really good. There used to be celebrities who came as Chief Guests. The participation used to be fair.

Campus Life

The infrastructure was always well maintained. there was a great library with latest collection of books related to curriculum and as well as self improvement and development. The wifi was always smooth and good. We had a great canteen.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

For campus placement students from 3rd year for my course are eligible. Highest package for my course is 3 LPA. Companies like oberois , hyatt etc . If I'll get better placements then I'll go for it otherwise I'll do masters.

Placement Experience:

Placement cell is quite good. Students are eligible for placement in their last semester of course. There are many great companies that come like JP MORGAN, EY, KPMG. Average package of the college is 5-6 lacs but there are high packages according to the skills of the student. I'd like to go for master's after BMS. Different kind of roles are there for students to apply according to their interests in all the fields like finance, marketing, HR, consulting. There is training provided by the college for placemens and there is personal training for individual company interviews if required by students.

Placement Experience:

Tata Group, Reliance Group, Aditya Birla Group and some other niche names from corporate are the ones who come for placements at law college. Since every year 300 students pass out and 150-175 of them get jobs from the college placement and the average salary offered is around 6-7 lakhs. Highest though last year was of 20LPA.

LIFE AT USHA MITTAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY.

i applied in difffrent colleges like ST. Francis college of engineering, borivali , Atharva college of engineering , malad etc. I didnt make it there as being a student belonging to the open category the cutoff for my desired branch was a bit higher whereas my college provided me with an opportunity to be eligibible for my desired branch.
