I chose GMEC Ajmer because it is one of the govt. engg. college exclusively for women in Rajasthan. Compared to other colleges I applied for , GMEC stood out due to its affordable fee structure, goverment statuss, experiencd faculty, and strong focus on core engineering branches. I also applied to private colleges by WBJEE and cuet exam and got selected in bs degrees . but i choose GMEC because i wanted to opt b.tech degree . In some colleges like mnit and mbm jodhpur , I couldn't get admission because my jee rank didn't meet their cutoff. The main reason was it was in my hometown only plus it is a very reputed college as it is the only girls engineering college in North Indian which attaracts companies a lot. Also the training and placement cell makes a lot of effort as well....Read More

Overall the college is fine. But there are some problems due to which the adjusting are going down unexpectedly. This could be prevented by improving some facilities and reducing the fee structure which is expected on everything a government college. So improving something's van result in better outcome....Read More
