Remarks

Because of excellent in Computer science engineering college in Punjab and maintain Sikhism. The college is fully digital and modern in Computer science engineering. The teachers are very educated and experienced.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum was good enough for ous. The syllabus was updated by the Punjab technical University or ptu University. faculties was good in college for CSE students. CSE faculti is good in which professor Amarjit Singh is very nice and good people.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 30000 per year

Placement Experience

The placements and the job opportunity is very important for ous. So I'm going for IT tour in bebo technology limited in Chandigarh Punjab. The facilities of there are very good. The placement process is not too difficult but the experience in all the education is very important.

College Events

Campus Life was excellent in Culture events. I am also participated in various events like sports and cultural. The Sikhism event is very famous in all of them.I am also participate in and got top 5 position.

Fees and Financial Aid

The less income scholarship for the students whose annual income is less than 2 lacks. The another scholarship was SRE exam scholarship for students whom passing the exam in well scored and the scholarship was given by the SGPC.The education loan facility are also present there for the students.

Campus Life

All is well in all the sides of our college. The sports meet is helding day by day, Wi fi faculty is very good in hole of the College. size of the library is too bigger in which lacks of books are present for various purposes. All labs are good for working and new equipments are there.

Hostel Facilities

Yes, I'm opted for hostel. The hostel facility was very good and the mess facility is also too good. No, the hostels are too bigger where the thousands of students are living. The facilities of are hostel are WiFi networks, Ac or non AC rooms so the rents are also various. Some time the events are also organised in our hostel like DJ party.

Hostel Fee: INR 38000 per year

Likes

supportive campus environment with the comfortable in the classess
faculty most faculty members are very much supportive and they guide the students in the right way only
events are there in the campus provided by the campus.

Dislikes

limited practical exposure is provided by the campus and also there should be more hand on international events

Placement cell provides opportunities but the stronger industry connections.

placements at my college are very very good, as everybody gets the chance to sit for the placements at the same level. we get the placement oportunities at the 6th semster also. in my brancg it is very good

class size can be large , it helps every child to interact
academic work is quite high , the schedule may feel hectic especially during examination

I like the most about the college the placement criteria and the way built your confidence
Also the hostel is very good and provide food 4 times
The campus explorer is also very nice according to me

Faculty is not soo well had a lit bit inconvenience
Hostel mess food is not good at some time
Placement is decent and average as like other collage

I appreciate the well maintained campus and infrastructure the cleaniness in the collage is good
My engagement with collage is good I join various types of activity in the collage

Dislikes

There is no ac in the class and the class windows are not that good
But there is one problem which is that there is no many options for girls in games like sports

Currently my course at cgc landran does not have any types of placement in my course but however the collage focuses on enhancing development of students employability by providing interships , skills development and workshops to enhance there knowledge

Gym is provided but only for name, no fame , always full

Course Curriculum Overview:

I’d rate the curriculum like 7/10 in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness — it covers all the major CSE subjects like DSA, OS, DBMS, CN, AI, ML, Cloud, Cybersecurity basics, etc., and honestly that was one of the reasons I chose this course because at least the core subjects are solid even if PTU keeps some old-school stuff in the syllabus. The curriculum does prepare you for real-world stuff, but only to a point — like, if you focus on coding labs and projects you’ll be fine for internships, but if you depend only on classroom theory then it won’t help much because industry wants hands-on skills. For higher studies also it’s okay because theory depth in subjects like OS and DBMS is decent enough. But yeah, improvements are definitely needed — some subjects feel outdated, teachers should use more practical examples, and we need more real projects instead of copy-paste lab manuals; also some faculty teach directly from slides which gets boring fast. Exams come twice per semester (sessionals) plus the final end-sem around December/May; they’re mostly easy if you write long answers, but tricky if you rely only on understanding because PTU likes theory-heavy questions. Overall, the system works, but it could be way more practical and industry-focused.

Cmc - a feeling in itself

Likes

Academics are very good along with proper clinical teaching lectures and simulation based teaching. Patient load is good. All the clinicals skills required at mbbs level are taught properly.
There are various extra-curricular activities which take place in college. Many cultural events are organized by college and student bodies every month which gives an holistic development experience
Sports facilities are also there which are very good.

Dislikes

Infrastructure is very old and needs repair
Many faculty members are leaving leading to less good professors in the college
Patient load is decreasing day by day resulting in less clinical exposure

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum followed in our college is CBME based curriculum. Our college was one such college which conrributed tremendously in developing this type of curriculum. It trains you in all clinical skills and provide you with the best doctor skills. Also many soft skills training session our held which helps in developing and training ourselves as good doctor. All the skills are taught on models and patients.clinical training is very good. However , patient load is decreasing which restricts oursleves in seeing variety of patients

Likes

College faculty are very solid and remarkable and some teachers also support the other students in difficult situation like financially
Paramedical course faculty sometimes give random party for students to their achivement

Dislikes

Campus is some sort of small and Students ground is short.
Sports ground is short if two different teams want to play they can't play like that.teams

Placement Experience:

The college provides good opportunities to those who are good at academics and for those who are not good at academics chances for them to placement are very low. During the past year, there were very good companies shown in my college for my seniors, some were very renowned companies and the highest package was something 650000.
