Course Curriculum Overview

I have keen interest in mechanical engineering so that's why i choosed mechanical engineering for my higher education. And I love to do my bachelor of technology in mechanical stream in Bab Banda Singh Bahadur Engineering College.

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 90000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

One year fees of my college is 90000 and i will pay my fees in every semester or we can say half yearly i have to 45000 fees after every 6 months. All the tution and other fees included in 45000 rupees.

Campus Life

There are many festivals celebrated in my college. In my college, we are specially celebrated Diwali. Moreover we are also celebrated lohri also. We are also organized annual program every year in my college.

Admission

I was apply for other college because Baba Banda Singh Engineering college is best college near my hometown specially for engineering. My seat approved in BBSBEC because of my good academic scores and i started my studies here.

Faculty

In my college, faculty members are very friendly in nature, there are good connections or we can say bonding with faculty and students. All the faculty members are good because of theirs friendly nature.

Night Life

Night life of my college is average because there strictness after 10 pm is increase so Security guard of my college not allow to go outside from hostel but we are enjoying night life in hostel of college.

Life at Chandigarh University A CSE Student

Placement Experience:

As a BE Computer Science student at Chandigarh University, placements are decent but depend a lot on individual skills. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester, and most of the placement process happens in the 7th and 8th semesters. Many companies visit the campus every year like Microsoft, Amazon, Cognizant, Capgemini, TCS, Infosys, Wipro and some startups as well. There are a good number of offers made, especially from mass recruiters like TCS, Infosys and Cognizant. The highest package claimed by the university goes very high, even above 40 LPA, but those are for a very small number of students. Realistically, the average package for CSE students is around 5 to 7 LPA. Mass recruiters usually offer packages between 3 to 5 LPA. Around 70 to 80 percent of students get placed if they are consistent with coding and preparation. Those who depend only on college studies may find it harder due to high competition. The university also provides training for aptitude, coding tests and interviews which helps in preparation. After completing my degree, my plan is to get placed in a good product based company. At the same time, I am also focusing on improving my coding skills and working on projects so that I can aim for better opportunities or even higher studies if needed.

Yes my engineering college provide placement to students many companies visited this year as intern for third year student like visa, samsungand many more .one has to be competitive enough for scoring and clearing all the round and to get internship as well as placement.

Internships at LPU

Placement Experience:

I exactly don't know but after 4 th or 5 th students are eligible for internship and placements. Generally in 7th semester 90 percent students grab their internship. Many companies visit on campus placement like Capgemini, Amazon, Infosys, TCS, Microsoft and many more. Highest package offered is 64 LPA by Microsoft and lowest was 4 LPA. Almost 90 percent students get placed by 8th semister. I also want to go to a MAANG company after getting my degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

1) I want to go in construction industry so i chose this field. 2) Currently our college curriculum is updated so its relevant i will say around 70 to 80% . 3) For improvement Faculties should be brought from all over india as professors here are only concentrated from ludhiana itself. and labs are very old it should be upgraded. 5) In a semester there are 2 monthly exams and one end semester exam. 6) As far as difficuly level of exam is concerned it is not much difficult if someone solved PYQ thoroughly.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am interested in computer science so I choose this course to learn programing how the code works in computer. Student ratio is 22 in class. Teacher are well qulified and there teaching method is easy to understand. There two term exam in 6 months and these exam is not difficult
