Remarks
I heard about this University from a friend who was doing a different course from this University only. From him, I came to know about this place and really liked it because it constantly ranks as one of the top universities in various categories because of the diverse community of international students and its teaching excellence in both theoretical and technical education.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum has been designed to help us gain competence in the general principles of management as well as develop a deeper understanding in the emerging areas. We have a variety of teaching methods like internships, field work, Major project where in by networking with industry experts and other professionals, we can understand the problems, analyse and suggest solutions. This gives is a holistic understanding of the subject.
Internships Opportunities
I got an internship offer at Nestle as a project manager. While working there I learnt a lot about my field and gained a lot of practical skills too. This was a non-paid internship hence I recieved no stipend.
Placement Experience
My university offers campus placements and conducts recruitment events every year. Some of the top companies that visit our campus are Deloitte, PwC, Amazon, IBM, Kotak, Reliance Group, Rakuten etc. My seniors who have been placed at some of these companies recieve around Rs 500000 - Rs 700000 per annum.
Fees and Financial Aid
Each year I had to pay around Rs 300000 in total. I paid it in two parts in each semester. Other than that, I paid around Rs 4000 for exam fees and student service fees. Also a few scholarship schemes are available at our University which are offered on a first come, first-serve basis.
Campus Life
We have a annual social day every year on campus. This social day is organised by the student union in our college. During the events there are a lot of music performances, stand-up comedy shows, dances performed by celebrity artists from all over India.
Hostel Facilities
I chose to stay on my own at a relative's place in karnataka since the hostel accommodations are quite costly. But according to my friends who stay in Hostel, the rooms are quite spacious and comfortable too. There is also two to three shared washrooms on each floor.
Admission
I had to sit for the REVA University aptitude test as part of the admission process. I had to secure a score of over 90% to ensure that I get selected. After I was shortlisted I was called for a Group discussion and Interview round. I took the help of one of my seniors who was already studying here to prepare for the interview. I was asked about my personal and career goals during Interview.
