Remarks

IIT Bombay is undoubtedly one of the best universities in the IIT Group, and it was a privilege for me to be able to do my MBA here at IIT-B. In the NIRF MBA rankings, the institute was ranked 10th in 2019 and 11th in 2020. It, like all tier-one institutes in the country, has AICTE clearance, but to gain a seat in MBA at IIT Bombay, one must have a relevant score in the CAT admission exam, and if the candidate passes the first stage, he must also appear for the interview/GD round.

Course Curriculum Overview

I had previously chosen to pursue an MBA after graduation, but I chose Accounting after consulting with several of my teachers and friends, as well as my own personal preferences. The course curriculum at IIT Bombay is unquestionably excellent, and having the opportunity to pursue an MBA via it was fantastic.

Internships Opportunities

IIT Bombay, as a globally recognised university, has a successful track record in a variety of areas, including internships. There were some well-known recruiters on hand for internships, and I was fortunate to work under one of them for a stipend of INR 20,000.

Placement Experience

Our college is well known for engineering programmes, yet management placements here are better than those at so-called top management schools. During 2020 placements, we were able to record an average income of INR 21.9 lpa, with over 90% of students being hired. Companies such as JP Morgan, Microsoft, Accenture, Amazon, and HCL Technologies participated in the placement drive, with the maximum compensation package for the 2020 class being INR 32.5 LPA.

Fees and Financial Aid

Our MBA programme included four semesters, with students paying INR 2.14 Lakhs. every semester, for a total of INR 8.56 Lakhs. I believe our college's tuition structure was quite reasonable, as many other colleges charge greater fees, although the IIT group association is available here.

Campus Life

Although technical education predominates at our college, management field activities and events were also present. Cultural activities, art competitions, Conclaves, and alumni association events were all part of campus life. My favourite pastime was spending free time with my buddies in Canteen's lush foliage. I believe the days we spent on campus at IIT Bombay were an important component of my MBA programme.

Not a dream college but a real one

Placement Experience:

The placement scenerio at our caollege can be described as average overall. Most recruiting company belong to the banking and supply chain sectors. Marketing students generally have better placement opportunities, while finance and HR students do get job, though the package are not very high. Buswiness analytics has limited scope as very few companies visit the campus for the roles in that domain.

Experience at ASM IBMR

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements after completing 2nd semester and entering in 3rd semester. Attendance is compulsory for getting the opportunity for placements. The companies like IDBI Bank, HDFC Bank, Property pistol, Godrej Capital are available for placements. The highest paid package is 9.75 for sales and marketing. Till now( 3rd semester) 60% to 70% students are placed. There are more opportunities for sales and marketing as compared to other fields.

from 2 sem you get to apply from interships and from 5th sem for placements ,i applied for only company which was tiaa one of the most biggest mnc in india who is direct compitator of jp morgan , i got a package of 6 lacks ctc per anum but the highest package was 12 lacks , the college has a policy that all student gets placed no students are left behind

Promising campus with room for better faculty.

Placement Experience:

After sem 4 we get final placement companies in the campus there are total 200 plus companies come to the campus till september to november almost 35 companies already come to the campus. The companies are ICICI, HDFC, RISHAB WORLD, INSYNC, DENSTU, ITC, BHARAT ELECTRONICS, CORDELIA CRUISE, MORNING STAR, NOMURA, NYKA, NAUKRI.COM. the highest package was given by a company name bharat electronics for HR specialization is 12 lakhs per annum. Almost in my time there 35percent get placed. I plan after degree is first 3-5 yrs in corporate lufe then after own business.

KJ Somaiya - A lively campus

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did choose this course as I am genuinely interested in management and if it is healthcare management that makes me excited. There is a different teaching faculty for each and every subject. The faculties are highly qualified market professionals and experts who teach in an extremely interactive and practical way. They are very supportive. There was one exam conducted per semester which included projects and written exams.

No such bad remarks though. As the college is very superior and one can take admission with complete ease as the college faculty, staff, workers are very helpful and there motive is very clear and remarkable. This college surely helps students in grooming and enhancing skill to the top. I would definitely recommend this college to the upcoming students those who are planning to do MBA in order to achieve goals and learn quality skills.

Good post graduate program with strong cirriculum

Remarks:

Overall, I would say that I think this is a very unique course being offered by SP Jain and they are very strict with the submission timelines and quality of work. This is definitely is not a run off the mill part time MBA. The institute makes sure you sweat to earn your degree, respectfully!

Iit Bombay the dream college

I did applied for iit delhi also as it was my home town but got IIT Bombay as it was much better for me because of placements and brand value. so i did fill for other college but yes iit bombay was my 1st preference so i got it and acc to my rank i was gettinng into iit bombay very easily but to be on safe side i added more option . so i have cleared jee advanced to get here . for mtech you have to pass gate . the admission iprocess is impler only its mostlyy digital.cutoffs of jee adv is obviously very high due to number of student who wnt to go in iit and number of studnet who get selected there is huge difference so dropper increases ....Read More
