Remarks
The admission process of IMT-Ghz was especially great. Due to covid-19 the process was conducted online & during the date of PI, they communicated the estimated time of the interview. This information proved to be extremely helpful as aspirants didn't need to stay infront of the camera for 3-4 hours at a strecth. Of all the interview processes that I had attended, IMT-Ghz stood out for me for taking this extra step to ensure aspirants don't get fatigued. For Eligibility purpose, one needs to be an undergraduate in any discipline and they could be a fresher/ work-ex candidate. Both are welcome. Application form and all its details can be found on the IMT-G website & they accept CAT & XAT scores.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose Finance, because I want to build a career in Finance & was looking to switch to Finance from engineering. Faculty is very learned & have graduated from top universities from throughout the globe. Also, there are faculties who have had stints in the corporate world & bring their learnings to the students in the classroom. The faculty engages in multiple learning tools that ensure student participation & learning. Term Exams test the students ability to apply the theoretical concepts onto practical problems in real life through case learning pedagogy.
Internships Opportunities
A lot of great companies come for summer placements such as Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, ITC Ltd etc. Average stipend offered is north of 80,000 INR and the projects vary depending on organization to organization.
Placement Experience
100% students get placed. Can also visit the LinkedIn post made by IMT-Ghz for exact details of placements. Students can sit for placements from Term 5 onwards. Avg Package - 15.42 LPA . This time there was a record placement with 517 students placed iin 17 days.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees Structure is 19.5 lacs for 2 years. Usually there arent that many hikes on a Y-o-y basis. There arent too many on cmapus jobs available at IMT-Ghz. In comparison with other b-school colleges the fees is pretty reasonable.
Campus Life
Passion is the name of the Fest and it took place in December' 21. The library at IMT-Ghz is especially wonderful as they give the studens access to tons of e-resources alongwith databases that hold tons of information. There are a lot of student run clubs & committees such as Finesse, MarkUp etc. There are sporting amenties such as volleball court, football ground, basketball court & gym.
Interview Experience
The faculty interviewing me were very calm & made sure that I had eased into the environment. 2 faculty members took my interview, wherein they asked questiosn related to my bio, my work-ex, & latest happenings around the world in contect with my workex. I prepared for these rounds by reading newspapers & enrolling for a GD-PI course where they also took mock inteviews.
