Remarks

While i was choosing colleges I chose the university of petroleum and engineering studies. There was no entrance exam, there is an online interview of a particular course or subject. I opted ba in journalism and mass communication so there were two professors of my course and they asked me some course-related questions and stuff. I think while doing the admission process they should improve some particular things. Like firstly college professors should take an entrance exam of a particular course and then they should take an online interview of children and know about themselves and ask some question-related course.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

So basically I choose bachelor's in journalism and mass communication just because I have good body language and also a perfect vocal voice too. So what I think is I'm perfect for journalism and mass communication. In our class, there are a total of 40 to 50 students including two-course that is journalism and mass communication, and mass media. The ratio of students in our class Is perfect our college faculty is very good of our course. Even some of our professors are qualified from very nice college from abroad. Rather than our course professor, our college faculty is also very perfect and helpful. From my course journalism and mass communication, there were no exams but sometimes there are at the end of the semester.

Internships Opportunities

4

There is an NGO in the SRIJAN social internship program. In the university of petroleum and engineering studies, the placements are so good. Even in other courses like law students and engineering students have a greater chance, like 90% chance of getting placements

Placement Experience

5

From the second year students become eligible for campus placements in our college. So basically I have pursued journalism and mass communication as my course there is a greater chance of getting placements in big companies like NDTV news, Aajtak. TimesofIndia. Maximum 75 to 90 percent students can get a better placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

The student is having 85%of attendance in every semester so there are possibilities of getting scholarship. Apart from this the student should not have any disciplinary case or a particular action. 25% of scholarship on tuition fees are there for all girls taking admission in any of undergraduate programme for 2020.

Campus Life

4.5

There are various types of sports in our college, University of petroleum and engineering studies. There are basketball ground, football ground, badminton court and a particular place for gym and table tennis. There are several types of curricular activities on the campus in every field and occasionally. There are various clubs and social networking sites of our college that our basically run by our college students or seniors. For example there is a account on Instagram or student council of upes in which there are various types of informations related to our college and events that were going to happen.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

In campus hostel there are two hotels one of girls and another one is of boys. So in boys hostel there is no balcony and there is no attached washroom everyone in campus hostel is using common washroom. But in the girls hostel there are different categories first is common washroom, second is attached washroom and the third one is of Ac room. I have taken attached washroom as per my hostel room category. In my hostel room there is three beds, three alimrah and three study tables.

Other Applied Colleges

Christ university banglore | Ba journalism and mass media

Just because banglore is very expensive city and not everyone can live in that city alone.

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester students become eligible for campus placements. Many companies visit our college every year and mostly all of the students are placed based on their capabilities. Highest package of mass communication is 16 LPA and average package of 4 LPA. My plans is to become a journalist after the completion of my course.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Our course circullim is extremely basic and I feel doesnt delve deeply into the course at hand. We have been allowed to choose our electives in our final year and I feel we should got an option to choose our electives in the second year to gain more exposure and clarity in the field we are interested in.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I'm not sure that what I'm do after schooling then i got to know about mass communication and journalism course. Some say you will be reporter, some say anchor, but my inner voice says barbaadi ki rah, like my colleagues are very disappointing person, actually not all but some. I enjoyed the college to the fullest and during my 2nd sem I left an exam and just have a mindest to give back for that paper, like seriously i just left the paper to feel how people or students do hardwork to clear thier back in exam, don't think that i didn't clear it, I passed it. Now I'm missing the college, the campus and etc.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum was severely outdated, with least emphasis on the practical learning which is ironical for a course like Journalism and Mass communication. The emphasis was just on the theory lecture and even there not in a single semester the syllabus was completed on time.
