The cool thing about the college is that you usually have more opportunities to explore your interests and passions.

The aspiring candidate must be a graduate in any stream with minimum 50 percent aggregate marks and he should have a valid score in MAT/XAT/CMAT. Then the institute conducts a JKBS test to evaluate writing skills, then group discussion followed by personal round of interview.

This course keeps in mind the needs of the industry where the students ultimately find employment, and, therefore, has a completely different approach to learning.

There are so many companies that offer internship which involves some of the major recruiters that are Videocon Industries, CocaCola India, Dhanuka Agritech Ltd., Thomson Press, Airport Authority of India, Britannia, AMUL, Continental Tyre, JK Paper, JCB, Parle G, Reliance Communications, Tata Motors, Ultra Tech Cement, Whirlpool India, Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. etc.

The placements of my college were decent and average. The maximum package was 4 lakhs.We have 150 total students in our batch and 50 students were placed.Mostly marketing and HR companies arrived.

Many college events take place in the campus like Inter-College Tournament, The Annual Case Writing and Case Teaching Workshop, Adios Farewell Party, Inter-College Quiz Competition, Seminars , Workshop on Soft-Skills Develoment, International Conference

The fees for the course is 2,20,000 per year plus 10,000 as the registration amount in the initial year. Fees is quite feasible as you get a discountafter you pay annually, else you have to pay 10,000extra if you pay every semester.

Scholarships are awarded to extra meritorious students on the basis of their past academic performance in their respective schools and colleges. The amount which is offered as scholarships is 60,000 approximately, and if the students continue to do well, more amount is given.

The college atmosphere is good but students’ strength is low and the facilities available in the college are average in nature. Overall, the college is average for studies and excellent for having fun.

IBMR does not have any kind of hostel facility for students. They have to find a PG or on rent with friends on sharing basis which costs a lot. They should openup a hostel and provide the services.

I got in touch with one of the alumni through the meet that occured in the college, he is Vikas Sheorain who is working with Fedex Express as a territory manager. He helped me regarding the choice of subjects and the companies to go for.

Every semester we are burdened with so many tasks apart from the exams, which include tests, quiz, viva, role play, class participation, group assignments, individual assignments, live projects and mid semester exams and to top it all we have Exams..

Teaching methods include videos and projectors where valuable and educative videos are shown to students relating to their course. Industrial visits were also arranged by the college.
