Remarks

1. They referred to the mark of +1 and +2 computer science subjects. 2. The application form is online at skacas.com websites and also refer to the office at the college and application fees 500rs and application date at any time they will contact you while admission starts. 3. Yes after the reservation they will contact you soon when the admission starts. 4. No, now the admission process is good but needs to show more importance in the office sector because of waiting.

Course Curriculum Overview

1. Because I am not interested in any other course and I am interested only in computer science. 2. The faculty members are good and teaching also better and the method of teaching is latest and good to listen and the ratio is 54:1. 3. According to the subject their qualification is good and better and the modern of teaching is also too good and the teaching method is a digital method using phones and smart class. 4. According to my view the exam is difficult and the exam coaching is good so that we can easily attend the exam and pass the exam with good marks.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 50000 per year

Placement Experience

1. From the fourth semester the students are eligible for placement in the college. 2. Many of the companies are visited in the college and I am not attending anyone of the companies because I am going to do pg after this ug and none of the offers are there for me. 3. Highest of 9l and lowest 92k for a year. 4.97% of students get placed and other students go to do higher degrees. 5. PG as MSc.cs, I am planning to do this degree after this degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

1. Need to pay fees at the time or minimum amount also can be paid for starting and then at the end of semester we can pay all the amount. 2. Cost of study is very high because they are teaching is too good and better than other colleges in my view so that the fees are also high.

Campus Life

1. I attended in 1st year the event name is athiruthra and it is good we enjoyed it very well. 2. Yes tech fest we had conducted for 1st year students and they enjoyed the day with us very cheerfully in a great manner with computer-based games in the library, there are lot of books. 3. Desk, smart board, projector, plug pin, windows, dustbin are some of the amenities in the classroom. 4. Extracurricular are many and they didn't show a great interest in sports. 5. Yes many more social groups are available in the college and it's good to move and clubs are also available in our college along with 20 more culbs are available in the college and websites are also available in the college.

Hostel Facilities

1.free wifi , a iron cot , row of table for keeping dress these are the provided in the room 2.meals can be get how much we need in the hostel and food quality is high and thge menu is full of veg no nonveg is not allowed in the collage hostel and the outside food also not cannot be take inside the hostel 3.in hostel they will give a form we can fill it and give to incharge warden and the room will be alloted for us 4.i am from kanykumari and i stayed hostel in my first year so that i had shared my review about the hostel

Nit Trichy B.Sc. B.ed. student review

girls to boys ratio is 1:1 is we consider all three branches with some courses with more male while other having for female.more or less the ratio is near 1:1
the most important thing for you is there is close to zero discrimination for you , whether you want to join any club or perform anything you are equivalent to students with others bachelor degree
octagon and library are the two things which are good as library is considered the biggest library among all nit's while octagon having 800 computers for students.NSO ground is also well maintained with the beautiful mig fighter jet to take cool phot

Dislikes

for first years hostel are well maintained if compared with others but don't expect much from hostel atlast this is a government college.in first year 3 to 4 person sharing room are there which was build to carry 2 person.
Quant and entrepreneur thing is not there as you might expect by seeing the nirf 9 ranking but it is not zero .they are growing clubs like profNITT and Sigma are young and they could do better
curfew timing for girls are 9 or 9:30 pm i guess be it any year. for boys ,only freshers have curfew with timing 9:30 pm.other than that any student can't step outside the college after 10 pm without the sign out form.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course as maths is the mother of all science and quite related to other fields so it opens a lot of door for me like mba ,mtech ,phd or any other things. this course is specifically designed for becoming teachers so keep that in mind before taking this course as they are not flexible in changing curriculum or adding something for the sake of students as of now. also you will be having more working days compared to other courses with 80 percent mandatory attendance.after first sem you will get 1 week holiday and after 2nd sem you will get 50.days holiday and after first year you can expect 20 days holiday for winters and 50 days holiday for summers. you will get a lot of time to study for exams. before ct 1 you can expect 2 months and then atleast a month for ct 2 and endsems. cons are that you don't have the right to choose minor or electives like btech students.you have to compulsory study all three science .i.e. maths , physics, chemistry.

HIMT COLLEGE REVIEW

Likes

The faculties are very well experienced and there are captains who stay in the campus itself, so if there’s something we need they will be available all the time
The facilitieslike labs, ship in campus, DB tank facilities etc are top notch
The classrooms are fully air conditioned. There’s smart board. Overall everything is really good and also neat and clean

Dislikes

Galley food can improve a little and canteen is comparatively small for such a big campus
They are not conducting intra- college events and inter-college events is very less

Placement Experience:

Placements are really good in HIMT. I got placed in 1st year itself in MOLMI. All faculties try their best to prepare us for the placements and it shows in the placement interview also. Usually companies come for placements from 2nd year but there are some companies who want to take girl cadets 1st year itself. MOLMI, MOLTA etc came to our college for placements. After completion of the course, company will call for induction and accordingly they will call for joining the ship. For finishing the cadet ship , we have finish 12 months of sea time. After that a lot courses has to be done for appearing in 2 nd mates exam.
