Remarks

I got into this college through TS-EAMCET Exam where I scored 9542 rank. You can apply for EAMCET through any online source with permission granted by the college. As I am under the BC Reservation category I will get full fee reimbursement. Cutoff for BC-D girls for Computer Science and Engineering during 2019 is around 10,000 rank scored in their EAMCET.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course to enhance my coding skills, where I am more interested. And also I feel that students of the CSE department get placed easily in their campus selections. Our college maintains good faculty and student ratio. Our college has around 300 faculty members with a 1:20 student: faculty ratio. All the faculty completed their higher education such as PhD or MTech and when it comes to teaching methods they use both board and projectors to teach us. We have mids twice a sem and internal, external lab exams for one semester.

Class Size: 63Course Fees: INR 20000 per year

Placement Experience

CVR Stands on top when it comes to placements. From 3-1 student become eligible for campus placements. Till now we got Infosys, salesforce, GAP. The average package is 4L. Almost 80 per cent of students get placed every year. I will get into a job after getting my degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

If you want to study in CVR college of engineering in CSE without any scholarship or good rank it costs around 1,25,000 Rupees per semester. If you have any scholarships the burden of fees reduces. I am under Epass scholarship so I pay only 6,050 Rupees per semester.

Campus Life

We have ciencia as an annual fest and many tech fests are conducted for every department. Ciencia s conducted in the month of March and tech fests in September, November. We can get Books related to courses at our library but not other books. The classrooms are good. Sports are extracurricular activities are very poor on our campus. CVR literary and debate club.

Life at RIshi

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for placements from year 4. The companies that usually visit are TCS, Capgemini and MMC etc. The college supports students by providing both technical and non technical jobs and any other uncoventinal career support upon request. Students aspiring to pursue education abroad are also provided with guidance and support.

Good college to join for study

Placement Experience:

So coming to placements they will provide good no. of placements if we have skills and keen of intrest to learn new things and grab oppurtunities. Also our colleg has NACC and NBA accredation there will be more companies approaching our college and taking students for placements and trainging. TP CELL will give its 100% in placements pushes students forward for various trainings and placements. Basically placement starts froms 3-2 mostly form 4-1 where students go to attend interviews and attend exams. companies like Infosys, Wypro, My schools, Infotech, and many MNC's. every year almost 150-200 students will be selected for placements. average package will be 3.0 - 4.5LPA and the highest package is 7.5LPA . their package is decided by companies according to the role they applied and thier level of skill. 45- 50% of the students will be selected for the placements. My plans after getting the degree: If i got selected in placement its well and good i will proceed further with the placement i got incase if didnt get placed i will try of the jobs and then shortly start a business.

College review: Pros, Cons and reality.

Placement Experience:

During 3-1 , we get only one internship i.e JPMC offering 75,000 per month which is of 3-month internship. Thhis year it took around 16 students. through coding round, hire vue interview and the hackathon process. I was selected to hackathon but sadly due to communication skills lack, I was not selected as intern , although I passed coding round, hire vue interview and entered hackathon. From 4-1 onwards we get placement oppurtunities like Deloitte, Chubb, oracle, DE Shaw, etc companies visit and offer good package only.

The placements in our college are very good the highest package which we got in our college this year is around 18 lpa and the lowest package offered is around 3 to 3.5 lpa and the average package is around 4.5 lpa a lot of companies come to our college to conduct the placement drive as we have campus recruitment training from our first year it makes it a bit easier to face the interview some of the companies that visit our college are mandatory cognizant TCS Accenture Infosys Wipro HCL ADP the placement drive starts when you are in your 4th year 1st semester or at the end of your third year second semester

See yes during my EAPCET councelling I don't know about this cvr college of engineering, its infrastructure, greenary , courses , placements .
