Remarks

Every process is good only improvement needed is to explain the process to students with full details. There is no need to improve any process of the admission because all are sufficient and faster than enough. I take admission in this college bye bhai the counselling of NPG for getting a BCA course in this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

The semester exam of my course is not so much difficult except maths subject maths is here on advance side which is also a part of engineering maths so you have to to give enough time for the maths subject. And the paper pattern of the semester exam is there will be 10 questions and you have to attempt any 5 of them, this 5 question also can have a subquestions in it. There are four unit present in each subject of 1st semester.

College provides you a many type of things which help you to make projects for your good impression in a placement time if you're a permit of computer lab whenever you are free you can go there to work on any type of project you want to develop your skills for upcoming placement sessions. Also provides many type of clubs activities where you can learn many different things another field like dancing ,singing , sports and acting etc.

Placement Experience

I am a student of BCA and my purpose of taking this course is only for having some technical knowledge for our upcoming future which is is a fully Digital time. My plans after getting a degree is go for a government job I do this graduation only for getting a graduation degree to apply for any type of government job.

Fees and Financial Aid

yesterday's college provides you a scholarship facility but it is not from the college side it is from the u p government so if you are a citizen of up then you can have the facility of scholarship for this college course fees accept if your parents are in government jobs. I didn't opted any type of job from the college I didn't sit in a placement sessions because I want to go for higher education MCA that's why I leave the placement session.

Campus Life

There are 5 to 6 groups and social clubs are present inside the college in which day taught you some extra curricular activities some of the clubs are sports club, cultural club ,social club, placement club, computer laband one club known as misc club in which you get the chance to travel many places from the college side.

Hostel Facilities

My friend have a PG room only of 200m distance from the college. I am also not a citizen of Lucknow I am here living in a PG room which is located at Vineet Khand 1 which is only 2 km away from my college you can also have many disease near the college because it was a main area of Lucknow where many pages are available near our college.

The faculty members are supportive and always helps students with academics and projects

The campus becomes crowded during peak hours due to large number of students
More industry internships and live projects should be included in the same curriculum.

Placements are good for students who Maintain strong academic performance and develop technical skills. Students usually become eligible for campus placement in the final year. Many well know companies visit campus for the recruitment, offering role in software, IT, consulting and other fields. The average package around ₹ 5.4 LPA , while the highest package has reached ₹ 60 LPA in recent placement drives.

Likes

I liked the Infrastructure here and the greenery and canteens well hygienic and clean .
Faculties are very supportive and well educated in their field they do encourage and support the students . They are easy to approach .
The campus life is very good here , the events etc and you will get to see various clubs here where you can participate and learn various skills like team work , time management etc.

Dislikes

Attendance criteria is strict here so that sometimes student faces some difficulty .
They can include more practical work for technical students .

Placement Experience:

Placement cell is getting better many students were placed this year with avg package of 4LPA and higest of 20 LPA . Percentage of Placed students is 60-70% in my batch because rest of all will go for masters . Companies like Chetu , tech mahindra visits here . From 5th semester students are become eligible for appling for campus placements and it is mandatory to apply those who want placement and if you once applied you have to attend the drive . They used to bring company till the students who wants placement are not placed apart from that they prepare students for placement throught PDP classes and one one to mentorship .

Good college with decent opportunities

Likes

Good faculty co ordinator and good infrastructure
Classrooms are also neat and clean as well
Library and labs are also set and best in condition

Dislikes

Sports and sports management are little busy.
Entrance Gate rule( opening & closing feels like we re in school)
Everything id good as well not any problem

Placement Experience:

Placement from ghe college are average. Student becomes eligible from final year. Few companies visits the college offering basic roles. The average package is around 4-6 lpa and some capable students get placed too.many student are also plan for higher studies or prepare for compatative exams after graduation.

Likes

Good campus environment, clean campus as well as a lot of greenary in campus
Many security gaurds present at different levels of gates and availability of a lots of cameras
Faculty is good and understanding making it easy for the students to interact with the teachers

Dislikes

75 percent is a must and they font allow students to give exam if the attendance is below 75
The students are not allowed outside the hostel premises after 9:30pm
Hostel premises are closed during main festivals like holi and diwali

The average package ranges between 3–5 LPA, while the highest package can go up to 8–10 LPA depending on skills and performance. Top recruiting companies include TCS, Wipro, Infosys, HCL, and other reputed firms. Think before you opt for this college.

Likes

The infrastructure and greenery was really good. Play grounds, running track and a sports building. There were respective charges for availing any sports facility like gym, swimming etc.
College fest was average with the college inviting well known artists like Milind Gabba, Nikita Gandhi, Raftar etc.
Girls- boys ration is good but the quality of students and environment is below average.

Dislikes

None of the teachers were highly trained to teach subject matter. The administration was always finding ways to fine students may it be for attendance or any hostel related expenses.
Hostel food was real trash. After even complaining on a regular basis it was upto no good.
There were many restrictions for hostel students like for even going out we needed passes and had to call our parents, they don't provide leave if u want to go home during the session.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement are been done but they force u to sit for non core companies. Like I was doing BCA and I had to sit for slaes, marketing and in field sales persons job interviews. Mass eecruiters like infosys and wipro also came which they take like 200 to 300 students.

There are many placements made even though KCCILHE is a new college. Companies that visited the campus are HCL, TCS, Cognizant, etc. 80-85 % of students are placed. After completing my graduation in BCA from KCCILHE I will prepare for NIMCET for further studies.

CIMS- AN OVERVIEW

I applied to every college on the Lucknow University affiliated college list but chose CIMS due to the following reasons: > Networking: I had many acquantances who were currently studying or have just passed out with placements from CIMS. This helped me realise the actuality of the college. >Location: As mentioned, the college campus is located smack dab in the middle of the city. This was a major element in my decision making as I travelled by myself and need to choose a place not far yet not so close to my own home. >Student Body: As I made a visit at the college, I got to see the type of students who were studying at the college, I found them to be a great crowd and this played an essential role in the decision. The admission process was as simple as it gets. I was accompanied with my father and we visited the college campus and asked for a tour. When we were done with it, I had made the decision to enroll there. We filled the form there and then only and made a seat confirmation amount of Rs 3500, which was later deduced from my 1st Semester fee. I applied for BBD but I choose CIMS for it extra curricular activities and holistic development approach of the college and also the location of this college is also good as I am from gorakhpur but I stayed in hostel of CIMS only and every thing is easily available.
