I applied to BCA at LU main campus but couldn't get it due to low CUET score. Hence I chose CIMS as it is affiliated to LU and I will get a degree of LU after passing out. I also applied to SVIM indore but as it was very far from my hometown, so i dropped the plan. Admission process: It was simple, I contact the admission cell and fill the form online and sumbited ?10000 for booking my seat along with ?1000 admission form charge. I applied to every college on the Lucknow University affiliated college list but chose CIMS due to the following reasons: > Networking: I had many acquantances who were currently studying or have just passed out with placements from CIMS. This helped me realise the actuality of the college. >Location: As mentioned, the college campus is located smack dab in the middle of the city. This was a major element in my decision making as I travelled by myself and need to choose a place not far yet not so close to my own home. >Student Body: As I made a visit at the college, I got to see the type of students who were studying at the college, I found them to be a great crowd and this played an essential role in the decision. The admission process was as simple as it gets. I was accompanied with my father and we visited the college campus and asked for a tour. When we were done with it, I had made the decision to enroll there. We filled the form there and then only and made a seat confirmation amount of Rs 3500, which was later deduced from my 1st Semester fee. The eligibilty was to have passed the 12th with a minumum percentage of 60%. I applied for BBD but I choose CIMS for it extra curricular activities and holistic development approach of the college and also the location of this college is also good as I am from gorakhpur but I stayed in hostel of CIMS only and every thing is easily available. The admission process is also online you can apply from college's website also and also by visiting also. The eligibility of the scores then you must have physics chemistry and mathematics in your class 12th and you must have above 50% in your class 12th to get admission in this course . Student can get the application form online from the college website and also from the reception of the college premises. No, this college does not provide any benefits to reservation candidates . Also I do not want to see any improvement in the admission process everything is quite simple and clear but the only thing that needs to be improved is to explain the students more detail in orientation program ....Read More
