Truth about the college

First of all there are two ways to get admission on davv college. First is with giving its exam that is CET which includes various subject like we can get those subject after qualifying the exam. And the second one is direct entry likewise this includes subjects which is not covered in CET exam, this are said to be NON CET courses. As the college releases the application forms you can get the news, you can ask at MP online or else you directly visit the college site. Application form fee is 1500 . To get admission in any course there are fixed no. of seats are reserved for sc,st, obc and gen category. As from 2021 NTA is conducting the exam since than the level of exam is increased somewhat and so there is nothing to speak about admission process.

I have choosen this because this type of courses is highly demanded in days IT sector . Since my cousese which is Integrared M.tech in IOT is a fresh which have been came in the college . The faculty is well qualified and almost are PHD holders in respective subjects. As we know some of teachers are very frankly and some rude type so here also both the type of teachers are there. Now we come to the exams - there were 20 marked two tests and a final or end term examination in which 20 marked exams are conducted in a month which are weighted in final results and the term end exams are conducted after every sem.

As my course is new in the college, I don't know about the placements much. But usually in other courses from last 3rd sem or 2nd sem students are elegible for placements. Various companies visits the the campus for placements like HCL, Infosys, Capgemini,Tata and so on. The average package at the campus is 3 lpa and the highest pakage in my knowledge is 10-11 lpa.

As it is the govt. college the fee is not much high .The fee of course was 27000 per sem. In this there is not so much to tell as every course has different fee structure . As I know the fee for MCA (5yrs) was 47000 per sem . Now we talk about the scholarships, to avail the scholarships the individual should be aware of it and you can ask your respective course HODs also. As of now I only about Medhavi Scholarship and there is one more which is for sc,st, and obc students. And if you want to take loan or something like that you have to take care of your own college can't do anything and there is no policy for it.

In my knowledge there two fests which were conducted in the college which are named as YOUTH FESTIVAL and the other is AKSHANK , akshank is a cultural festival in which many competitions and activities are performed. And Youth Festival is like a inter college competition in various categories like solo singing,solo dancing, group dancing and so on . Whichever festival is conducted that will be informed by the respective HODs. In the library , there are many books available and we can issue any book there. Now we talk about the sports , their are many indoor and outdoor games like football , cricket, volleyball, table tennis , badminton, and there is a synthetic track also.

Hostel facility is good enough as it provides a good room in which two persons can easily accomodate . Because of covid the hostel facilities inside the campus is not allowed. Else then the hostels which are outside campus are opened . The food facility in not included in the hostel fee, students have to arrange food by there own . Now the registration process for hostel is - we have to fill a form and get signed by the course HOD, the form can be taken from hostel or at the site. An individul has to fill and sign the form and submit it to the wardens office from which you get a hostels details where you have to and book seat.Hostel accomodation is given by first come first serve. The hostel is much affordable .
