Remarks

You have to score nearly 60 percentile in MHTCET to get admission to this college. You have to visit the college for the application form and they will provide information regarding fees and application dates. I get obc reservation in which I get 50% off in tuition fee per year. The admission process is offline. If it becomes online it will be good..

Course Curriculum Overview

I am interested to do civil engineering so I choose a bachelor of engineering in the civil course. Faculty have nearly 2 teachers per subject and per class have nearly 60 students. Qualification of faculty is good like the have degree of bachelor of education. The exams are twice per year like 2 semesters per year and the difficulty of the exam is quite tough.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 48000 per year

Placement Experience

From the 7th semester, the students become eligible for college placements. The companies visit in the college are like Wipro, ITC and more. The highest package in this college is 7 lakh per annum. And the average is 4lakh per annum. 30% percent of students get good placements. My plan is to do MTech in future.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees are increasing as the year increased and the cost study of students are quite expensive for middle class people but it can be affordable. We get simta scholarship from college which for only obc and ewc students. No, I didn't get the job.

Campus Life

The college held an annual fest in the month of December in which students perform their talent. The college has quite a big library in which books are a lot more. Classrooms have a blackboard, desk, benches, tables, etc. College also held inter college championship of football and cricket. The college has a YouTube channel ACET Nagpur.

Hostel Facilities

The room has one bed, one table, and one washroom. The meal quality is quite good and has good taste. And in the menu, it is vegetarian and has different types of food but most of the rice and vegetables. The hostel is private but cheap in price and affordability is also more. The locality of the room is near the college.

Sem 6 is considered preferable for the college placement many students starts getting placed from that, many companies like wipro, mahindra & mahindra, tcs, capgemini, etc. visits each year to the college each and every students gets atleast a offer to them few also gets more than one like 2 to utmost 3 also,750+ students got offered at the final year of 2023 if we include internship offer than it goes more than 1200, in campus highest package was 12lacs off campus was 62lacs, (85%)+ of the students gets placed each year in the college. After i get degree i would try for college placements and would also focus parallely for the off campus placements too, and ofc wherever i will get the highest placement i would go for it.

This college has a very big Alumni network. Because this college is started in 1982. And its highest package is 300000 and its average package is 4.5 lakh. And the graph of placement increases year by year.

College for middle class students who can't afford expensive college

I didn't choose this college, it was destiny and I am not that rich. The addmission process was simple i have to crack CET exam and I got some good percentile of that I had around 85 percentile but I couldn't have applied to other colleges because the good colleges are far from my home and there fees are also high. For example if I have applied to GH raisoni I have to pay over 80000 fees and the rest will be scholarship but here I pay 48000 that's the difference it doesn't matter if you have studied hard got good marks the college you decide is always on the basis of money and fees Thats why I am stuck here...Read More
