Remarks

The process was really convenient and interesting, the eligibility was 12th pass and the course seems to be really attractive. I would like it to be more short and easy as an answer to the improvement process.

I found this really interesting and career making for me therefore I opted for this course. The faculties are friendly and knowledgeable which helps us a lot in learning the course. They are qualified and learned. The exams were not conducted timely because of corona but it was ok and was good enough.

Amazon, Axis Bank, Deloitte, Bajaj, TATA motors. These are the companies that come to our campus for our placement. The outcome has to still be experienced by me and I am sure that I would like the curriculum and life there.

From 4th year students become eligible for placements through campus companies visited our campus is Amazon, tata and other average is 9 lakh per anum and highest is 37 lakh per anum 96 percent people got placement from campus.

Fees and Financial Aid

As per the present scenario cost of the study is 8 lakhs for four years scholarship I have got is being a child of commissioned officer I have education fees of 30000 till now I am in the first year and the average placement of ece is 16 lakhs per anum.

Campus Life

Annual fest Of nit Jamshedpur is cultfest and tech fest is ojass all kinds of books are available in the library all kind of sports are available from table tennis to volleyball and basketball and there are clubs available for each sport.

Hostel Facilities

The facilities available are really comfortable as well as the boys are friendly and we are enjoying the environment and the campus too. The registration process was easy and strict which gave me a feeling of security and peace.

Overall Review of NIT Jamshedpur

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum exam ready for students of mechanical engineering it focuses on industrial level exposure and for other competitive exams like gate and IES with good faculty who teaches almost all concepts. There are labs for each subject in which we get real world application knowledge. Also course is updated regularly as per the requirement of industry . The course can we improved by making course more practical rather than a writing all things on practical it should include project for students. Frequency of exam is that in every 15 days there is a exam with moderate to difficult level.

7th Semester students become eligible for placements. The highest package is offered by Rubrik in 2025 of 1.41 CR(domestic) High paying jobs are mostly for SWE/SDE roles. Percentage of students getting placed in CSE/AIML is 75, ECE 69, EEE 60, Mech 58. My plans after gettting degree is to get into job sector only for a while. No such higher education plans as such.

At BIT Mesra third is like full of practice for placements and final year more of placements activities than studies. So, when all these things are in order placements obviously will be more or less certain and here they are certain only with almost 90% students are places through campus with annual placements of 8-10 lakhs per annum.

A Genuine Review

Placement Experience:

From 5th Semester onwards student are eligible for internship but from 7th semester they are allowed to sit in campus. Various companies like PayPal, Wipro , cognizant ,TCS ,Genpact ,Amdocs etc. Highest Package this year is 35 lpa and Average Package is around 7.5 lpa. Around 90% of students from circuital branch and around 80% students from non-circuital branch has been placed so far this year. My plan is prepare very smartly for campus placements and bag a very good PPO from are tech based company.

I applied for NIT Raipur NIT Durgapur and NIT prayagraj I selected this college NIT Jamshedpur because it has top class placement and the branch I was getting as mechanical engineering which is a decent branch. I got rejected from NIT prayagraj due to little less rank . The admission process of my colleges you have to qualify JEE mains with around 95 percentile to get any branch as a general student then you have to go for Josaa counselling in which you will be a lot at the seat . I did choose this college because it is quite old and reputed, being a govt college it has lesser fees and offered good placements, I got IIIT Lucknow as well, but didn't opt for it as it was quite new and didn't have proper hostel and residence facilities at that moment.
