Remarks

Eligibility is candidate must have more than 50 marks in 12th. Application status is available at the site only. There are benefits of reservations but I applied for gen. No, the admission procedure is far better than other colleges. Hassle-free and up to date.

I wanted to pursue design that's why I applied for it. The faculty and student ratio was 3:5. Teachers were helpful and friendly and motivated us but if I talk about the experience and the studying way. It was so bad. Lack of practical and everything. Exams were like 2 times in a year and middle of them, internal exams and assignments. It was easy to crack, but sometimes we faced partiality btw ex diplomas students and bach. Students.

Internships Opportunities

In designing, you can find internships and jobs in an export house and if you have good references and portfolio then under designer. But for Portfolio you have to work by yourself because they don't know how the portfolio looks like. So they end it up with combining your good work but that doesn't work in a job interview Just focus on the portfolio. Go to enhance and there are so many sites and work on a portfolio.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee was very low 12500 for the first yr then 4500/yr for remaining I didn't get an internship with the help of college. In fact, they even didn't help. They gave us a list of some exports but they didn't contact them for us. And we all know as a fresher it's very hard to get an internship without reference. At my job, I got 9500, because it's the minimum wage industries provide to their workers.

Campus Life

They used to conduct fests and workshops. Books were not available in our department library and in the maulana azaad library we were not allowed to issue any book because it was a new course. Afreenkhaan is one of the great artists from Amu.

After 5 or 6 semester the students are eligible to get campus placement in different companies. Many companions were xame like nestle, sudha, etc. The highest pakage us about 20 lakh/ anum and average package is 5-10 lakh per anum. There is about 80% change of placement of sudents number.

If you're thinking of taking vocational course then please do not otherwise it's good for other courses.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Specific aspects : vocational studies are meant to provide practical knowledge and less theoretical , i mainly chose this to be able to learn about Industry earlier. Our curriculum did promise everything but when it comes to providing actual practical experience they just take our money and in return just put us with the BA/BSc students and we have to study alongside them without any special course and the theory was supposed to be 30% but in reality they only teach theory throughout the year and it covers 70% of our grade. Area of improvement: better internship opportunities, actually teaching the practical aspects written in the syllabus. Some of the bvoc courses do get internships but not computer application. Timimg of exams are alright not very frequent as per se, difficulty level is medium.

The reality of BVoc computer applications in BHU

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum prepared is great . But the follow up is pathetic. They are not teaching any practical knowledge as written in the curriculum. They really need to provide us a fixed faculty based on our course. We should be provided classes and teachers of our course not some random research scholars. They don't complete the syllabus but will take exams in just one to one and half months i have completed two years here and currently I am giving mid sem exams of sem 5. Now you can imagine how it is here.the only proa here is that you will get a degree of BHU that's it .

A Glimpse of Life in Aligarh Muslim University

I chose this college mainly because of the less fees structure and the greenary campus , a good place to study.Moreover, I'm preparing for govt exams also, so the time needed during M.tech. is enough to focus on exams too. Also, I don't want any gap between the study and job as we have to justify later during interview (the year gaps , if any).
