Remarks

Admission process is through UG CAP under Calicut University. We have to apply through university site my creating cap id. Based on our subject knowledge and plus two marks, they will assign an index mark for us. Higher the index marks, possibility of acquiring seats increases.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

I choose this course because I was interested in Electronics. This course will make us eligible for a veriety of jobs in circuit, software and embeded field. There were about 26 students 8 in my class. 7-8 faculties were there for each of the six semesters. All faculties are highly qualified. They cleared NET exam and some of them have Phd also. Their teaching methods are good. They know how to make children understood even complex subjects. There are 6 semester exams conducted by university and internal exams conducted by college. Both these exams' marks are considered for qualification. Exams were neither too easy nor too difficult. Anyway, a good subject knowledge is required to pass exams.

Placement Experience

2.5

Students become eligible for placements from the 5th semester onwards(final years). There wasn't any campus placement and no companies visited our campus for such needs. But students can participate in placement drives conducted by multinational companies and acquire jobs. Some of our seniors have been placed in Wipro, Infosys, TCS, and so on. I joined for my post-graduation after degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

I haven't paid any tuition fee because I was admitted in Merrit seat and our college is a government-aided institute. If students are admitted under the management quota they have to pay 5000-6000 INR as the tuition fee. If students are Keralite, and their annual income is less than 1 lakh, they can apply for grants. Under this government scheme, all fees paid by students will be returned. I got grants for three years. Some of my friends also received a post-matric scholarship also.

Campus Life

3.5

Annual fests, Arts fest, Sports and games meet are conducted every year. Those who qualify will be taken to inter-collegiate fests, czone fests, and so on. There is a well-equipped library with journals, newspapers, educational books etc. The digitization of the library is in progress. Classrooms are old and traditional. Classrooms and other such facilities needed to be improved. There are enormous clubs and social groups on the campus. Boomithra sena, Students Initiative in Palliative(SIP), Entrepreneurship development cell etc are some among them. Many government initiatives like WWS(Walk With Scholar), ASAP(Additional Skills Acquisition Program) etc are also there.

From 5th semester you will be eligible for campus placements. Big banks like federal bank, south indian bank provide high placement package with the highest package being 60k per month. Other IT companies like Wipro, accenture, and deloit etc also provide high package placements.Almost 50 to 75 percent of students get placed after third year. My plan is if i get a good package I'll go for the placement or else I'll go for my masters degree

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choosed this degree for me to pursue higher studies in uk or foreign country to study cosmetics related field. So for that bsc chemistry degree must have But this curriculum doesn't teach something base to that I think so.. For further studies the teachers need improvement to teach certain topics some teachers didn't even prepare to study students and lab safety is not in the lab.Because of the teaching the portions are done in last minutes and often exams are difficult in major subjects so they need to improve their study methods and often approach students nicely..

Course Curriculum Overview:

I feel in love with mathematics in plus two time. The coursee are more application based when compared to other. Out college being an autonomous college has good grip to keep up to the level of good education. Overall teaching methods and syllabus are very good. Frequency of exams are troublesome during the last time of year because all the programmes like youth festival annual day etc come together

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose Bsc electronics, it has an attractive curriculum and some of them are influenced me in some way. The facilities are well-known about the curriculum preparing and all. The current curriculum is good but it needs some changes. Include more practicals is one of my suggestion. Teaching methods are good it doesn't need any change. Exams are conducted by Kerala University, so the college can't do anything in main exams but the college will complete all the portions before the exam date it is sure.
