Remarks

The admission criteria are simple. Candidates have to pass 12th from a recognized central/state board of education or 3-4 years of diploma in the engineering field. The maximum age should be 23 years. The final selection will be based on the scores in GAT. Application forms, fees, etc are available online on the colleges' website. No reservation is availed in this college and no improvement is needed in this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course because I am interested in fashion designer field and and faculty student ratio is good here. This college have both full time and guest faculties for the college. The full time faculties are great at their parts. They are helpful even after the college hours also as they have provided their contact information on various platforms so that we can clear our queries with them anytime. Exams were held on time every semester.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is very much expensive as compared to other colleges. This college is charging Rs.11.09 lakhs for the whole course i.e, 4 years. The yearly fee for B.F.Tech in NIFT is rs. 2.71 lakhs in 1st year, rs. 2.64 lakhs in 2nd year, rs. 2.78 lakhs in 3rd year and rs. 2.96 lakhs in 4th year.

Campus Life

NIFT celebrates many cultural and other events every year. The participation in these events are on a huge scale. They celebrate many major events like Republic day, Independence day, Convocation day, Graduation Ceremony, Fashion show any many more. NIFT organize a project nae CRAFT CLUSTER PROJECT every year. Under this projects there are many events organized like fashion show, exhibitions, designing showcase etc. The participation is huge and these events are also visited by foreigners.

Nift Patna Honest Review

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course and curriculum is well organised and maintained . It is even given in printed form to teachers to teach exactly the same , but teachers do not take enough intrest in teaching the cores of it , some of them just keep one PPT and keep showing it to us the entire semester, not teaching any new thing , The exams juries are pretty simple and the jury brief is given to us some days before the jury, but the jury evaluators expect some extra ordinary work and criticize us a lot for showing the work we wre supposed to show simply. Such is the case.

Placement Experience:

Fourth-year students are eligible to appear in campus placements. Companies who visit NIFT for campus placement are Titan, Boat, Blackberry, Aditya Birla Group, Reliance retails, FabIndia, etc Last year's highest package was 22 lpa offered to a student from the Fashion Communication department. The average package would go around 4.5 lpa. The percentage of students getting placement would be 90% My plan after getting the degree is to spend at least 2-3 years in the industry after getting a good company to work with.

Other collages like NID which is considered very prestigious and India's number one design college, is very unique and different from nift which is only a fasion based coursive college, it has frequent fashion shows and events which only focus on Fasion related stuff, the course which the course which I took which is fashion communication promises to teach us animation and various other subjects like photography and videography film making and various other digital stuff but as I came across the course and teachings I got to know that it is only based on fashion related stuff and when the student goes into industry exposure it is very difficult for the student to work in an environment which is not based on fashion related stuff so NIFT is very different from NID. LEARNING EXPERIENCE IN NIFT
