Remarks

The admission process was quite simple, We had counselling and after that branches were allotted on basis of rank we got in the VITEEE exam. Availability of seats of different branches depends upon category. For different category we have different fees, better the rank less the fees.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose my course because of my deep understanding and interest in semiconductors in 12th and I wanted to have a deep dive into it. Faculty:Student ratio=1:60. Faculties are mostly PhD Holders. Exams are very very frequent. In VIT you will have to give almost no exams compared to any other college. Term exams are medium to difficult.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 198200 per year

Internships Opportunities

All big companies come here for internship offers. They offer huge stipends some getting stipends of 1lakh/month. All roles are offered under internship programs. Real life based project are used for internships.

Placement Experience

4.5

From 7 semesters students are eligible for placements. All top companies visit here. Around 300 companies visited huge last year. The percentage of students getting placed is 90%+. Highest package last year:75 lakh. Average package.:7 lakh.

Fees and Financial Aid

While you got enrolled into VIT, the course fee does not change. A slight change in hostel and mess fees is observed and is expected. I am in my 3rd year only so till now I have seat in any placements so can't answer this.

Campus Life

Tech fest and annual fest are world class, no doubt after IITs you will get top notch quality here only. Libraries are big and have a lot of space and if I would rate Library. I would rate it 5. Sports and other activities are encouraged. There are lots of clubs on campus, you can form your own club too.

Hostel Facilities

The mess is top notch. Hostels are so Hygenic. At least 15 hr cleaning is there. The quality of rooms is high. The meal and menu of mess are good, food is healthy. Both south Indian and north Indian available.

Why SRM is better than other collages.

Placement Experience:

So from 6-7th semester they offers placements before that we have placement training in campus.So highest package for 2024 was 45 to 50 lpa,good offer given by amazon and other company also.So the average package is 7.5 lpa and highest package was 50 lpa.so 925 application are accepted in last 2 monts .My plans to get job and then after 2 years may be for higher study or startups.

Life of an MBA at VIT

All of us know VIT for its flagship program which is B. Tech but its MBA program is too good as well. I gave the CAT exam and secured 85 percentile which helped me in taking admission at VIT. NAAC accredited the university Grade A and it is ranked 51-75 for MBA/PGDM by NIRF in 2020. Another thing is the cost of study which is far less compared to other B schools.
