Remarks

Admission process base on Mht-cet score also on base of JEE but most most student selected from MHT-CET score. Aero branch have decent cut-off. It go upto 83 to 80 percentile in MHT-CET. If you belong to a special category ( SC/ST/NT) one can get very little college fees. For OBC student college fees is aroun 50 to 60k.

Course Curriculum Overview

I'm very fascinated by Aeronatical engineering so thats why i choose this brach for my further studies. Faculty member is very good every faculty member help student is ther is any defficulty and try to solve our problems. Teaching staff is also quit good qualified with good teaching skill.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 12616 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees structure vary according to category. Open category Student: 1.2 L. OBC student: 50000 to 60000k per year ( with a scholarship provided by the government of Maharashtra for OBC). NT and TFWS : 14k to 15k. SC/SC : 3k to 4k.

Campus Life

All Faculties are available like well equiped practical labs and computer lab. Canteen also serve good food but price is little bit more. The library has good infrastructure with the necessary book. Faculty members arrange the well extracurricular activity.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel Facility is quite good at that price in a city like Nagpur but, you can also go for rooms in the surrounding area and there are many private hostels for accommodation. College hostels has decent mess food and have good rooms.

Hostel Fee: INR 63000 per year

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. I appleid for ycce college , raisoni and priyadarshini college of engineering in which i got priyadarshini with branch etc which was unexpected . I was not expecting this but when i researched and studied i found it was worth getting as it has many facilities than other college and the staff is wonderful. I dont no what went wrong with me in other colleges as i was eligible for it i got 82% in cet exam but i didn't get it. For getting admission in pce you should pass 10+2 with good percentage and should appear for cet . You can directly get admission or can get through the cap round....Read More
