Life and BBA at IITM

The admission was smooth. The criteria is same as all the colleges under guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha university. Register for CET exam and the admission will given on the basis of CET Score. You can choose between colleges if you have enough credits. Anyone is eligible for the taking CET who has ve done 12th with a legit board. Above 50% in class 12th.

The course curriculum is very easy going, most of the concepts are already taught in class 12th commerce students. The faculty student ratio is 1:56, teachers are well qualified and understanding, all ICT approved methods used by teachers such as presentations, smart boards, assignments,notes and regular class tests. Exams are easy keeping in view the covid situation, students are encouraged to take initiatives in suggesting different types of assignments to make them more interesting and interactive.

Internships are offered by many companies such as homeflick, soch Rangmanch, times of India, education tree, etc. roles offered varies from company to company such as marketing and sales are offered by TOI while others offere HR, Business developer, finance, PR, operations manager, backend etc

As told before you can get internships in early 4th semester and jobs in early 5th semester but that varies from student to student many students don't take internships or jobs from college placement. The campus placement percentage is close to 99%(as told by college) The internships are unpaid. Companies like Wipro, British telecom, Travclan, Jaro education participated in campus placements Highest placement of 2020 was 6.6LPA. Average package offered is 3-4LPA. The course isn't cheap to be fair, to go with it you have to be very sure what you want to do next. Many final year students choose to sit in campus placement while some choose to pursue MBA, others either start a new business or run their existing businesses. I don't know much about scholarships but I don't think there are any(please confirm with college), internships offered from college were unpaid and compulsory since you have to prepare a project during that internship in 5th semester. The highest placement of year 2020 was 6.6LPA with Jaro Education.

So the classrooms are big and airy with A/c and smart boards in every class. There are many clubs such as drama, Bhangra dance, contemporary dance, environment, internware, chess club, football club, and many more. Yearly fests are organised (obviously before covid) competitions and quizzes and GD and webinars and training keep running through out the year. There is a book bank system where you can collect the semester wise books from the library and return them after the Semester is over. The canteen is not updated very boring but there Nescafe in the college, you can get pretty much to eat there as well . The college is surrounded by so many eateries and eating joints around the college, you can basically get everything near the college.
