Remarks

Gossner college take an entrance exam test for admission in BCA and then they provide admission on the besia of entrance result. Minimum marks for admission in our college is 45% in your 12th board exam from recognized university.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course because I am very attracted with technology, College faculty provides good amount of knowledge to their students. In my department batch of 2019-22, there are 130 students. All the faculty members are well qualified. In our college there are 2 exams in a semester, first one is MID SEM exam and second is End Sem Exam which is good for checking for our progress.

Class Size: 125Course Fees: INR 36000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

In BCA & BSC-IT fee is 36k per year of OBC and GENERAL , For SC/ST fee is 18k only in 2019-22 batch. College provides scholarships to every student for this you have to fill the form and do their process. If you are from obc then you'll get around 10-12k as scholarship and for SC/ST 18k as scholarship every year.

Campus life is very good if you are social person, there are many fests like youth fest. There is a library with wifi ( only for teacher ) , BCA & BSC-IT have a special library with tons of books, you can borrow book for study

Course Curriculum Overview:

I joined this course because of market demand and also have interest in computers. Faculty: Student = 60:7 Supportive faculty also councelling about our future. Most of the teacher uses projector and smart classes. Exam is easy compared to Btech CSE. 4-5 years previous year question papers are provided. If you only study the pyq then you can get upto 7.0 sgpa in exams.

Sarala Birla University is a nice choice for UG courses

Placement Experience:

When I went to college's orientation program, they showed a data in which more than 90% students placed last year. I don't know the exact but there were only few students last year but from our batch, the number of students increased hugely. So, I guess there will be an decline in placement ratio. According to college and some seniors, some big companies visited in college and they hire meritious students. Average package is around 6L which is decent.
