Remarks

I applied only for PSG College of Arts and Science since it is well known for it's placements and in discipline. I entered the college through merit quota. Every year 50% of the students who study in the college are selected through merit quota based on the marks you have scored in your HSC Exams. The minimum marks is 60 . There is an Age limit of 17 to join the college.

Course Curriculum Overview

Banking sector always has a bright future. The main reason was my ambition to join Banking sector. The faculty student ratio is 1:60. Every teacher is knowledgeable and is qualified with a doctorate. Teachers are very kind and helpful in teaching. Term exams take place once in 6 months. The exams are easy to pass.

Internships Opportunities

GOLDMAN SACHS company offered it's internship in the second year with an average stipend of ? 300000. The main roles offered are Operations. Other roles include the core sector roles like Banking officer and Manager.

Placement Experience

From fourth semester the students become eligible for campus placements. WIPRO, AXIS bank, HDFC Bank, TATA consultancy services are the major recruiters of the college campus placements. The highest package is 5 lakh. P. A. The average is 3 lakh. P. A Almost 95% of the students got placed while others opted for business. I am planning for placements.

Fees and Financial Aid

I did not apply any scholarship during my study time. But various financial assistance and scholarship facilities are available for students time to time to help with the financing. The cost to study for 3 years costs around 183000.

Campus Life

A lot of clubs and social groups are run by both the teachers and students. Some of them include NCC, NSS, Innopreneurs Club (for the entrepreneurship development) , Line light club (to help students achieve what they want) , Photography club and many more.

Hostel Facilities

The registration process for the hostel is simple. We have to fill a form and based on the vacancy they will allot a room for the students. The hostel costs around ?90000 per year. The food is best. The quality of the hostel when considered to the price is really good.

Best friendly college with quality education

Course Curriculum Overview:

The specific aspect will be accounting that made me choose this couse. The curriculum made me to prepare for future accounting field works and knowledge around the field. The improvements that I suggest may is to add more relevent real life job experience in subject books itself. As per me who is one of a topper student in my college, The difficulty is moderate to me and timing of exams are more enough to fill all the questions.

From 5th semester students get campus placements. Highest ever is 80LPA i think from deloit or KMG. Mostly students get placements about 75% get placements. My plan after getting degree is clear CA inter and finals.

An personal view of myself of my college

The psg college of arts and science is a prestigious college in tamilnadu and every student has a dream of studying in our college because the merit system makes it more likable for students as there are two types of applications one is aided and another one is self finance the aided structure made me to chose this college over other colleges . The application has to be applied on the psg college website and once you are eligible for counseling the will ask you to attend it and if you are eligible for the seat you will get seat .
