Remarks
Finding a college for mass communication was quite difficult because not many colleges offered it. But Rani Birla was a good choice for journalism due to its vast exposure and a cosmo environment. People with reserved quotas may get an advantage. Admission is merit based. The minimum requirement is 50% with good marks in the best 4 subjects. Due to the prevailing COVID situation, everything had been done online. The students will be called to the college for the verification of documents.
Course Curriculum Overview
Our teachers are very understanding and helpful. We are free to contact them whenever we need it. They are so friendly. The faculty: student ratio is 1:10. Till now there have been no exams. My course is Mass communication and journalism because I want to become a journalist in future and I think my teachers will help me to do that.
Internships Opportunities
There are no such internships and placements through the college. A student who wants to intern can search for the same outside the college and stipend may vary from company to company. For example, a student pursuing Mass communication can look for a content writer or copywriter or anchoring internship.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees are minimal for a middle class or upper class also. Every semester, that is, 6 months fees has to be paid. According to my knowledge, there are no scholarships but a student with a good academic career can surely gain help in future.
Campus Life
Due to COVID, we have not yet seen the campus. But according to web pictures, the college is not as grand as other private colleges, but of course, it has a library, canteen and small ground. Some workshops are held and there are also some fests annually. There are some clubs that are run by college students too.
