About Mar Gregorios College of Arts and Science Chennai, Mogappair

I applied for many colleges in Chennai like srm, Loyola and DG Vaishnava and many more but from that colleges, I didn't any admission one of my friends suggested to join Mar Gregorios college one day I went to college to know about that at that time the admissions were open for my course and also they providing spot admission for students with in one day the admission process was completed and they didn't ask any admissions fee from any students this was a big advantage of this college when compared to other colleges they will ask to pay lakhs of rupees for the admission but in this college, these is not there and there is no counselling process in this college and this is arts and science college so there is no counselling process so anybody can join this college. The faculty are very nice they are friendly with students. We can ask doubt at them anytime and they will replay without any hesitation.

I choose BSC computer Science this was my dream course actually applied for BE Computer Science, unfortunately, I didn't get that course so I chose BSC computer science. in my department the faculty members are very nice we can feel free to ask doubt they will replay without any hesitation this was a big advantage of this department in this college nearly 2000 thousand students are studying and the majority of them are boys and in my class the strength is 50, 35 boys and 15 girls when come to teachers qualification majority of them are double graduates and very few are PhD scholars. They will conduct exams on time majority of teachers will say important questions so we can pass in exams easily.

From the 4th semester onwards students will be eligible for campus placements at that time of placements students should have only one arrear like Wipro, TCS, HCL and many more companies visited our college at that time of 2017 2018 after 2018 companies visiting is very less I don't know about now, most of the companies will offer 5 to 8 LPA. Out of 100 percent only 25 percent of students are selected on campus and the remaining of them are going for walk in the drive.

I did my ug in BSc computer science and I am 2017 batch at that time my fee was 36000 per year and exam fees are other and the big advantage of this college this will provide enough time to pay a fee in case if it is delayed means we can pay the amount in sem when to campus placement and I am 2020 passed out students at that time there are not enough placements.

the campus life was very good in every student life campus life was unforgettable, in our college they will conduct many fests like Onam celebration and Pongal celebration and Christmas celebration and monthly there will be department fest monthly in the library, we get every book related to our subjects. Classroom amenities are good and in most of the classes there are also projectors this will help the students to understand things easily and every year they will conduct an annual sports meet and many other extracurricular activities are there. Actually, we are touch with our seniors in the WhatsApp group they send any job notification group.
