Remarks

I have applied for 3 other college and i get selected also on those college but they are very far from my home so finally i have taken admission in Fairfield institute of management and technology. College provide quota in admission but i have not taken any quota. The minimum marks required in 45% but based on marit list college short list student for admission. Cut of FIMT is high because of good reputation.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose to study B.com because i was from commerce background and i want to do P.hd in commerce subject. College has good number of regular faculty and guest faculty. Faculty members are excellent and well experienced. They provide best knowedge and best support for study. The term exam always conducated on time. Term exam are neither easy or not very difficult.

Class Size: 45Course Fees: INR 60000 per year

Placement Experience

From last semester of every course in college get eligible for campus placement. Many company visit for campus placement every year. From our batch around 80-85% student get offer from campus placement. The highest salary package were 4.5 lac per year and average salary package were 3 lac per year.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure of college include many things like tutation fees, university fees, activity fees, security fees etc. The total fees is around rupees 70000 per year for B.com course. Yes FIMT provide scholarship and fiancial assistance to those student who is economicaly weak.

Campus Life

FIMT orginise many moot court competation, tech fes, and management festival. The campus life of college is good. Many mall and movie place near by college to hangout. College campus air condations. Good connectvity of wi-fi avilable in campus.

Underrated College- An honest opinion

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

It was more my existing stream than the curriculum that made me choose this course. It doesn't give me a kickstart to my future career goals but it was the most secure and relevant one. There should be more real world exposure and teaching technique rather than the century old laid out theory practices. The frequecy of exams is somewhat suitable as per the subjects per semester.

Placement Experience:

From the 5th sem the placement starts. Our college have a placement cell and the recruiters are Big four firms like KPMG, delloite etc Recent data update says it is around 6.47 lakhs to 6.5 lakhs and highest went till 23 lakhs if im not wrong. Students with CGPA 7.5 and above get to sit in the placement. My plan is simple, to make money.

Delhi college with admission through illegal means (chaotic)

I Gave CUET, CLAT, and aimed for DU colleges but couldn't get past it. Admissions were already done in the IPU but spot rounds got me cleared for the college. Couldn't make it to DU colleges, firstly because of high competition resulting in high cutoffs and secondly because of the Quota system which was only meant to be there for 10-15 years I think but now seems permanent. I gave jee mains and cuet.. so by cuet I got admission in du in a b.sc course but I also filled the ipu form...then because of my uncle said b.tech is much better than b.sc but I didn't get seat in any of ipu because of my rank..my rank was around 7 lakh I go for offline counselling of ggsipu in that I got selected in FIMT for b.tech CSE ...
