WORTH UNLESS IT HAS MORE EXPERIENCED FACULTIES

I haven't applied for any colleges other than Gitam. I haven't availed any quota for admissions.There was PI round for admission into the GITAM and I have opted BBA(BA) so you need to have mathematics in your 12th standard, and you should have pass certificate of 12th standard for eligibility into the GITAM UNIVERSITY. First we have PI round after getting selected they take you to computer labs for registration at their GITAM WEBSITE and you get your temporary ID's .

Yes, I have chosen this course because after doing some research about this course, this course has a future and this will and is the most valued course in further days. The faculty and student ratio is 3:60 it depends on the subjects per semester. All the facilities have and must have PhD's for qualifying into the GITAM UNIVERSITY some of them came after experiencing from corporates, they have decent and practical teaching methods which is useful for corporate experience. The semester's internals and semester end exams are divided into 60:40 ratio of internals and externals. As many of them think that it is all about marketing and management so please don't get into that business analysis is all about coding, so it is bit difficult.

Actually the college didn't provide any internship companies due to covid so they asked us to study through Coursera and get certificates for projects. So we did Coursera and learnt more than 15 courses offered by foreign institutions like IBM etc.

At the end of 5th semester the training for placements gets started, with a nominal fee of 5000. Amazon, TCS, WIPRO, SWIGGY, ZOMATO, NAUKRI, JUST DAIL, SYNCHRONY and many more companies come for campus placements. Highest package is offered by TCS of about 12 lakhs p.a, and average is about 5 lakhs p.a., about 80% students gets placed and rest of them go for MBA and higher studies. I am going for training in an reputed company and then I will have my own startup and expand it further.

1.2 lakhs is tution fees and if you opt for university transportation it will add upto 50000 per year. No scholarship is provided they only say that they have provided but it is all about marketing tricks to attract students to join.

At the start of the college it is a bit difficult as the juniors will ask you to introduce yourself and after FRESHER's everything will become normal, the campus is huge and filled with plantations and infrastructure, you will enjoy the campus life there. GITAM HBS has a sports event at the end of November called LAKSHYA and it has annual fest called PRAMANA which is held in the month of January and small fests are held every month so the students doesn't feel bored and overburden on studies. There is huge library with all journals and textbook so everyone can access it and all the course related textbooks are available. In the classroom there are steps like benches and a projector with cpu, speaker and mics. There is a student club called kalakriti which is for the development of students who have interest in their talents and passion for arts, music, sports and management. The grounds are huge with all sports grounds in it.

Only there was PERSONAL INTERVIEW and they asked all the questions relating to the subjects in 12th standard. They asked hobbies, passion, goals. The process is simple just go to the admission block and opt for a course and submit required documents and get dates for personal interview after getting selected they will call you again for registration of the course after registration they will give you temporary ID's. Actually I haven't prepared for these rounds I was confident that I will crack the PI round.
