Remarks

I had not applied for any other college because it is my nearest and also a good college in Jamshedpur, Jharkgand. I had not availed any quota for admission. I got direct admission on the basis of my 12th marks. Student must be pass in class 12th or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry and Maths as essential subjects.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose Mechanical engineering because there is large scope in this sector especially in cities like Jamshedpur. There are more than 20 teachers out of 120 students. All teachers are at least M Tech qualified. Exams are on time and it is a little difficult to pass the exams.

Internships Opportunities

Auto cluster provides good opportunity for internship. In Auto Clustet you can explore the real applications of mechanical engineering. You can also go to Tata Steel also do your internship. Tata motors also provides chance to do internship.

Placement Experience

Students become eligible from 7th semester for campus placement. Many companies such as Tata Motors, RKFL, BMW Industries Ltd., Sony Auto, WABCO etc are visiting for campus placements. 70% students get placed every year. I am currently working in BMW Industries Ltd.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is scholarship scheme for students on the basis of their 12th or equivalent marks. Maximum 50% scholarships on above 90% marks in 12th or equivalent. Fee structure is Rs 40000 per semester. You have to pay Rs1650 exam fees per semester.

Campus Life

Fest such as "Frolic" is organised every year in winter season. There are lots of different types of good books available in the library. There are different types of journals and science magazines available. You can also read online in the library. There are many outdoor and indoor sports such as Cricket, Football, Basketball, Hockey, Badminton, Carrom, Chess etc which can be played in college campus.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel room is provided with separate Almirah, Mirror, Bed, Table with drawer and Chair. Mess is good and it proveds breakfast lunch, snacks in evening and dinner. Hostel is in college campus. The college is on the bank of river subarnarekha.

AFFORDABLE EDUCATION WITH SCOPE FOR GROWTH

Placement Experience:

after 7 th semester we are eligible for placement a very companies come here to visit cause earlier some of companies comes here but they don't get quality student so they just stop to coming here however for palcement top candidates are selected and sent to tecno india kolkata as this college is managed by tecno india group where after interview they got placement so if you have good knowledge and coding skills may be you got a interview call some companies like acceture and wipro comes here the ece branch and cse branch got some placements. i don't know the exact numbers but in last year around 25 offers was made among which the most paying was 9 lacs per annum secured by a senior name harsh dwivedi from cse branch here's the profile linkedin. com/in/harsh-dwive di-208b00228/. most of the students from opt for higher studies or psus through GATE and my objective is also same opting for M.TECH.

The admission process was offline. forms has to be filled up which cost 1000rs as registration. application form is available on the main building of the college in 2nd floor. There was no minimum marks for admission we only need to qualify 12th. Admission was taken through councelling of jharkhand combined exam and jcece. We had been called according to our rank in jcece exam. We had been called on different days and different tome slots. At that process we were asked to choose our preference of colleges.
