Remarks

Cat percentile cutoff then IRMASAT, Group Activity followed by personal interview. CAT percentile required: 82 if work-ex or 85 if fresher. IRMASAT had general knowledge and current affairs questions mostly related to the agriculture, food, development sector. Group Activity is not like any other group discussion. It is more about listening and understanding than about speaking. The interview was grilling. Agri background students are grilled more.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course curriculum is hectic like every B-School. More than 70% of the faculty is very very good. The faculty is well qualified. There are 6 terms in total and 1 internship called Summer Internship Segment (SIS) and one Village Fieldwork Segment (VFS) where you get to live in a village for about 50 days.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

For summer Internships, more offers were there than students. 100% placed. Offers: Market research, Impact evaluation, Regional specific roles, etc. The process is fair and place com works hard to place everyone.

Placement Experience

4

The placements are good. Average final placements stand at 11 LPA. Summer internship, average total stipened stands at 60,000. fair number of companies offer PPO or PPI. Roles offered are Sales, finance, product developmeny, business development, Management trainee, regional manager, CEO.

Fees and Financial Aid

IRMA is a funded college so fees is comparatively less. There are many scholarships to avail of based on reservation, marks etc. Jobs are also good with average package of 11 LPA for finals and 60K for summers (Per month).

Campus Life

5

So many clubs to take part in. Every festival is celebrated with high enthusiasm. In different states, people take up the responsibility of their festival and make it special for everyone present at campus. Co-Ed hostels. The sports committee arrange some sports events every week or 15 days.

Hostel Facilities

5

IRMA is a residential college. It is compulsory to live in a hostel only even if you have home in the same city. Co-Ed hostels make life fun. The hostel is cheap but mess fees are high. Single rooms with common washrooms are there.

Interview Experience

5

Personal Interview: Q. Why Rural Management is important?, What are your plans for the future?, Do you think you are suitable for this?, Why IRMA?, Solve a basic apti question. IRMASAT: Questions based on development, government policies, and schemes, agricultural and food-related questions

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is like they say we are not teachers here we are, mentors, to guide you and jot to teach you as you have grown up now so should learn things by your own self so the course is as such and the faculty is like everywhere you will have the same situation it's OK.

The University is one of the top private universities in India. Ranked 2nd among Best colleges in Gujarat by Times. After reading this article, I searched its official website online and read it's detailed brochure and couldn't stop myself from the application form and the second reason were my grandparents as they live in Gujarat. It asked me to fill all my personal details regarding 12th marksheet scoring 72% and BBA in which I scored 75%. Further I gave CAT exam with 85 percentile. After submitting all these documents I got call from the university accepting my admission.
