Remarks
Cat percentile cutoff then IRMASAT, Group Activity followed by personal interview. CAT percentile required: 82 if work-ex or 85 if fresher. IRMASAT had general knowledge and current affairs questions mostly related to the agriculture, food, development sector. Group Activity is not like any other group discussion. It is more about listening and understanding than about speaking. The interview was grilling. Agri background students are grilled more.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is hectic like every B-School. More than 70% of the faculty is very very good. The faculty is well qualified. There are 6 terms in total and 1 internship called Summer Internship Segment (SIS) and one Village Fieldwork Segment (VFS) where you get to live in a village for about 50 days.
Internships Opportunities
For summer Internships, more offers were there than students. 100% placed. Offers: Market research, Impact evaluation, Regional specific roles, etc. The process is fair and place com works hard to place everyone.
Placement Experience
The placements are good. Average final placements stand at 11 LPA. Summer internship, average total stipened stands at 60,000. fair number of companies offer PPO or PPI. Roles offered are Sales, finance, product developmeny, business development, Management trainee, regional manager, CEO.
Fees and Financial Aid
IRMA is a funded college so fees is comparatively less. There are many scholarships to avail of based on reservation, marks etc. Jobs are also good with average package of 11 LPA for finals and 60K for summers (Per month).
Campus Life
So many clubs to take part in. Every festival is celebrated with high enthusiasm. In different states, people take up the responsibility of their festival and make it special for everyone present at campus. Co-Ed hostels. The sports committee arrange some sports events every week or 15 days.
Hostel Facilities
IRMA is a residential college. It is compulsory to live in a hostel only even if you have home in the same city. Co-Ed hostels make life fun. The hostel is cheap but mess fees are high. Single rooms with common washrooms are there.
