Remarks

I applied in some collages like mahatma gandhi engineering collage, merchant collage, punava collage, dr.babasaheb ambedkar, awh polytechnic collage etc. The reason of not attending those collages is they aren't providing good facilities and they dont get much company offers for internships. I availed in obc quota for admission.there is seats for each quota(except general quota). Admissions are merit based. All the collages offers online application for admissions. First you have to take enrolled number by applying online. You have to apply soon before seats get filled. You are only eligible This course if u passed hsc with physics , chemistry , maths Equivalent with 10+2. minimum age is 17 for this course. Admission process is start in june around. But you have to check it out on Collage website because counseling date isn't fix every year.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

i did choose this course because i can easily earn 15-20 thousand rupees per month after getting the degree. Also, have an interest in this field and there is wide opportunities for jobs in many big companies. There are many labs and we are completely furnished with very capable faculty staff in this course. The faculty staff is really kind and helpful towards students. the student ratio is around 70-30. The Qualification of the faculty is experienced and professionals in their particular field. The teaching method of professors is good indeed. they put so much effort into each student and organize weekly and monthly tests for students' betterment. The term exams are on per semester. And it's really really hard. So you have to study harder to get past.

Internships Opportunities

4

Merchant institute and tech, java tech, Shree medico, etc companies have visited our college they offered internship with 5000-6000 rupees per month as a stipend. But our institute also provides internships with 5000-7000 stipend. So our institute's students don't have to find other companies for internships if they want to do internships. we got these Projects; Periodontitis Monitoring Device, EEG Controlled Wheelchair, RCSD, Device, Portable Vitals Monitoring Device, AIR, ACL, Device, Smart Cushion, Device to Reduce the Risk of Pressure Ulcers, Mandibulomaxillary Fixation Device, etc. based The outcomes to based on these such projects.

Placement Experience

3

Yes, placement is available in our college with the first semester, and when you get your admission final you will be eligible for placement. Merchant institute and tech, farmasisco, java tech, Shree medico, etc companies have visited and they have made a number of offers and packages around 7 lakh to 8 lakh per year which are highest packages but some other companies like bios, Nirma medico, necrosis company, atc have offered average packages around 6lakh per year. all the students get placement so yeah it's hundred percent. My plan after getting the degree is to get a job in any big company like Paradiso, java tech with yearly packages.

Fees and Financial Aid

The per-year fees are 45000 rupees. Which is average. There are other 1500 rupees exams fees that need to pay per semester. Also, the university takes library fees((100/month) and sports fees(500/year). The government gave the "MYSY scholarship" program which gives 10000 rupees scholarship to general quota students. Otherwise, if you are Obs/sc/st quota, you will get a scholarship equal to your annual fees, etc. Financial assistance isn't available. The job we got on campus is an internship. Where we get paid 6-7 thousand per month as a stipend. Also, we can do assignments and side work for companies like java tech, shiva, java, Nokia Vodafone and info, etc.

Campus Life

4

There is several good fests are held in our college On different months. likewise, freshers fest, farewell fest(for students + teachers), and some big festival fests. these Fests are held by students or by our institute. The tech fests are sponsored by companies that visit our campus. The library on our campus is really big and silent with all the availability of books on our syllabus. journals of our seniors are also available in the library. In the classroom most of the facilities are available. The watch, air-conditioner, new benches, and whiteboard/marker is available in classrooms. The extra circular activities like football, cricket, marathon,s, etc are held on campus. Also, we can play games in free lectures. There is a student WhatsApp group is available where we can get updates about college events and programs.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

The hostel isn't good enough. Because there isn't separate washroom/ toilets per room. Which is very uncomfortable. there are 5 students in each room. There isn't much free space in rooms. also, they are taking high fees for hostel facilities. The meal Quality and taste are quite good enough but the seating facilities like table and dishes aren't fine. There is a simple form we have to fill with advance 5k rupees fees and college certificate for taking admission. To be honest, fees are really much high for this kind of facility. There is private rooms/pg are available in 3000-4000 rupees but they are so far away from campus.

Interview Experience

4.5

Group discussion topics are mostly related to how medical biology and engineering can develop more scopes. case study topics, controversial topics, covid related topics, online WhatsApp and Facebook groups, etc. sometimes students do group discussions about exams and weekly tests. And tips to remember topics thought GD. The interview question is Why did you choose to become a biomedical scientist? Why should we appoint you?, talk about a time you disagreed with some clinical findings!, can you explain your understanding of ISO 15189? and syllabus topics are mostly asked in interviews. test patterns are based on The questions are given by the companies which visit our campus. Criteria for admission is the student must need to complete hsc/ssc with maths and science. You have to apply online and then have offline applied if u get eligible. i prepared for test rounds and mock rounds (asked by companies) by group discussions and with studying hard. Mostly GD helps us a lot for mock rounds.

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

Placement Experience:

One thing I really need to appreciate at CIT is its placement training program. The placement team conducts regular sessions on 1. aptitude 2. coding 3. communication skills 4. group discussions and 5. interview preparation which helped me feel more confident during placements. The trainers were friendly and always encouraged us to improve our skills step by step. They provide continuous guidance and feedback throughout the training process. Mock interviews and one to one assessments helped me to understand my strength and weak areas and I work on improvements . These sessions not only improved my technical and communication skills but also boosted my confidence . The placement training team played an important role in preparing me for career opportunities and industry expectation

They focus heavily on communication , technical knowledge and competitive preparation ,align students with what top companies expect ,and contiuosly push us to improve and meet industry standards. Their structured training helped me to clearly identify my strengths and work on my weak areas, which made a huge difference during interviews and boosted my overall confidence. The department faculty are equally commnedable ,knowledgable ,approachable and genuinely invested in student career. Overall CIT is an excellent choice for anyone focused on building a strong and sucessful career
