According to my rank in jee i chose this college and placement is very good for every branch.For metallurgy branch when i compared placement Percentage and highest package with other nit ,i got nit jamshedpur in top position.

I choose this course because from my jee rank i was getting metallurgical and materials engineering, civil engineering, chemical engineering, mining engineering branch at different nit and after comparing placement ,higher education stats i found that metallurgy branch stands out in everything. Faculty :students ratio is approx 1:16Every faculty has phd degree and some of them has published research papers in foreign. Every faculty has their own way of teaching ,due to online classes we interact less but they try their best to reduce the gap between online and offline classes .They are very knowledgeable and friendly. Term exams are taken always timely.Passing exams is easy .Be attentive in class and study 1-3 hour daily ,complete assignments at time then you will pass definitely. If you are nit student then you are already talented , so passing the exams is not tough.

Placement of nit jamshedpur is quite good. Some students go for off campus but most of them are placed on campus.some students go for higher studies like mba, some qualify gate exam and take admission in iits or iisc bangalore. More than 150 recruiters came with 697 placement offers and 126 internship offers in our college. Major recruiters are ola,paytm,tata steel, aditya birla group,hitachi etc. 37.5 was highest ctc and 9.38lpa average ctc of our college. Overall 91.6%students got placement in the class of 2021.

If your total family income is below 1lakh per annum then your full tuition fees will be remitted and if total family income is between 1lakh and 5 lakh per annum then 2/3rd of tuition fees will be remitted but remember you will have to pay mess and hostel fee .If family income is greater than 5 lakh per annum then you will have to pay full fees.Fee is greater than other Nits.E-kalyan scholarship is provided to jharkhand students. SAMSUNG star scholarship is given to navodaya students. You can also apply for loan.Nit jamshedpur's placement is very good ,you will get placed if you have right skills.

Ojass is the annual techno management fest of nit jamshedpur .culfest is the annual cultural fest where debate, quiz,drama,singing,Dancing competition are organized.prizes are given to winner. Students from different colleges participate in these annual events.Our library consists of a separate Reading hall,periodic section, stack room,book bank and a binding unit.The library subscribes to a sizeable number of technical, scientific and general periodicals journal and newspapers for the students and faculty members of the institute. Classroom are well maintained. Urja is annual sports fest in our college, you can participate in any sports like athletics,cricket, badminton etc. In our college Phoenix, rays,revanta ,drift, baja ecoriders are technical clubs.sankalp a pledge to change is run by college students to give education to village students near campus.You will get many opportunities to follow your hobby in our college.

For admission you have to score good in jee main.Admission is done through jossa.Read all the instructions given in jossa properly and follow it.There is no preparation required for admission process.
