Remarks

Pros:-Among Bihar state Engineering colleges,MCE Motihari has set a benchmark for excellence.It is fully equipped with all the necessary and advanced tools and technologies which help students to enrich their skills.Low fee.Faculties and Seniors are very helpful,environment is quite productive and competitive.Cons:-The college is slightly in remote area but it isn't a big trouble as the connectivity is growing fast.There is a problem of residence because hostel buildings are being build.Admission is done on the basis of JEE mains score and starts in June -July month.A good valid score (>80%tile) is required to get into the college.MCE Motihari comes in top 5 colleges among the Other.And is the obvious cause to select this one.

I opted for CSE as i'm interested in Computers also it is the most preferred now-a-day.There is a good 10:1 faculty student ratio.They all are selected through exams conducted by BPSC And also there are some good faculties from Tequip (from IITs NITs) .Exams are taken timely and cracking it is easy just study faculties notes and material thorough twice.

Placement Experience

There are a few companies which visit air campus like Pie-infotech,ACC,HCL,ONGC and more% of students (50-60%)get placed is low but the college is working very hard on it.There are many students who got off-campus Jobs in a prestigious company like Wipro,TCS,Mindtree .

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee is very low as compared to other state engineering colleges.In Bihar,anyone can easily get benefit of Student Credit Card loan to pay fee which is a very good and helpful initiative of government.

Campus Life

There is a well spaced and furnished library and almost all needy and important and relevent monthly weekly journal are available.Infrastructure is getting better day by day.Various cultural,sports and social activities are held to give students a overall development.Also clubs are there.

Hostel Facilities

There is a hostel facility but it is difficult now to get one because of availability issue(for boys).But soon this scarcity will fade as hostel are being built at a fast pace.Girls always and will get hostel facility.Food and lodging is at very cheap rate without compromising quality.

Admission

Solely on JEE mains score.No Group discussion or any written exams are for admission.But if one is good in extra activities and social engagement will be a plus point for him.

Infrastructure have so many things including campus Aminities
College have some extra curriculum activity which may affect on children

Dislikes

Management and dean behaviour is very bad
Not so well much cleaned area college should must focus on this
Sitting arrangement of exam is very bad when I give exam I realise another year student have also seating behind me

Course Curriculum Overview:

The environment of the college and its canteen is very bad.Colleges should pay attention to this because it is not safe for girls.Rest of the campus etc. maintains its value.In this, studies are done in the open only, studies are done from a distance only, one has to go only during the examination time.

Environment of the campus is extremely good.
Mentors are very supportive towards the student.

The campus is relatively small and consists of only two floor campus.

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities at my college are decent with companies visiting the campus for recruitment in various technical roles. The college also conducts mock interview to improve students employability.

Campus is good and filled with greenery and good environment
Here safety is good and warden is very active in night and day shift too
Here good ratio on boys on girls and both treated equally by all

Dislikes

The mess quality should improve it need improvement
A little inside in city so for enjoyment we need to travel more
Hostel is old need maintenance tooo and additional changes

Placement Experience:

Placement is average like 5-6lakh but all depends on you if you are skillful then can get any amount in placement. Many companies visit here and you will get many chances and offer with right skill .many started own startup too with guidance of professor

I like my faculties teaching skills they explain everything in easy language and make it easy to understand
Infrastructure facilities although the campus is small but still it provides good facilities

Dislikes

There is some things which I dislike such a lift facility is so bad I get irritated with that.

Placement Experience:

The overall placement is good. Students from 5th semester is eligible for the placement. The higist placement is offered in MBA department 40 lakhs. 60% students get placement through college I will job in cooperate organisation

Students of final year and pre-final year are eligible for college placement. Different companies visits college for the placement opportunities after words with TPOs. Heighest package is 6LPA and average is 2.8 LPA. Around 60% students get placed. My plan is to pursue MBA after the degree completion

Likes

Well educated and experienced professors, library is too good, huge patients load in opd.
The fest named CFD(college foundation day) is celebrate at large scale
Interactions with seniors is too good and seniors are very cooperative.

Dislikes

Under construction building which create a lot of dust in the campus.
Roads are very congested, many difficulties in driving in campus
Ground is occupied by construction company.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In this course, there is stability like there are maximum chances to get a job in future. The faculty and student ratio is very good, in my college it is approx one teacher for every 15 students. Teachers are well-qualified, well-educated doctors! Exams are very tough to pass because the syllabus is so vast and it is very difficult to revise them.

MMDCH - THE SECOND OLDEST COLLEGE OF BIHAR

Placement Experience:

As you all know, there isn't any placement in medical and dental colleges. You can always open your clinic or join a hospital. For opening your clinic, you need to have a good practice. In that regard, MMDCH is very good. Its OPD is huge. By the time you graduate you would have done a lot of cases. And this will be very helpful for your practice. If you don't want to open a clinic, you can also prepare for PG. You can be an MDS in your preferred department. Dental clinics run very well but you need to have the patience for the first 10-12 months. There are many job opportunities in the gulf regions. You can also go to DDS.

I applied for eight different college through UGEAC application stands for Bihar Undergraduate Engineering Admssion Counselling I selected first for Katihar Engineering College which is established in 2016 ( then after upgrading my application form I selected Motihari College of Engineering ) . KEC is much new as compare to MCE Motihari which is established in 1980 . Due to old college it has strong alumini base and name. To enter in college, there are different ways just like jee mains examination, BCECE ( Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination ) and mop round counsiling. In my college there are six different course avaliable and the cutoffs for different courses are differ . You may get admission in cse or cse (ai) when you score 75 above percentile. Motihari Engineering College in my Point Of View

I choose this college beacuse I am not able to get any NITs( Due to because my JEE MAINS Percentile is quite low for that ) and also this college is one of the best college for Mechanical Engneering in all of the Bihar Engineering Colleges. For admission in our college student should have to give either JEE Mains or BCECE ( Bihar Engineering Examination) after that they should apply for respective counselling process( UGEAC for JEE MAINS other wise BCECE ) and student got college with their respective branches according to their rank or percentile. For top branches like CSE or AI in our college general category student percentile should above 85 and for SC ST it is 70 percentile only. Girls also got some special reservations here....Read More

I also applied formechanical Engineering in Muzzafarpur Institute of Technology (MIT) , Muzzafarpur but I have low percentile as requirement for MIT thats why I am not selected in MIT , Muzzafarpur . I named this college after MIT because it is the one of the oldest Bihar Engineering College and also ranked in top 5 Bihar Engineering College that is main reason I selected this college. ` For admission process you have to give exam like JEE MAINS or BCECE ( Bihar Engineering Exam) . Motihari Engineering College in my Point Of Views

I applied for different college in which I also got Muzzafarpur Institute of Technology (MIT) , Muzzafarpur but I don't take admission in MIT because it is far from our residence after that I am being selected for this Motihari Engineering College with CSE-AI branch and I joined this college because it is in our district and almost 13 to 15 Km only from my home. For admission in our college you have to give exams either JEE MAINS or BCECE ( Bihar Engineering) afetr that we have to go for counselling process in which we have to do choice filling . After sometimes counselling result announced and we got college with respective branch accoding to our UR Rank or scores( Percentiles). Cutoffs for CSE , AI like upper branch is around 80 percentile to 90 percentile for OBC and General category and less than 70 are also sufficient for SC ST category. I applied for MUZZAFARPUR INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY ,Muzzafarpur but I got this MOTIHARI ENGINEERING COLLEGE beacuse I have low rank in JEE Mains and also got CSE(AI) branch here.. Yes I got rejection from other colleges like MIT, Muzzafarpur because I have low rank in JEE Mains and I have to take CSE Branch. Admission Process of our college is so simple .For JEE mains student we have to apply for UGEAC Counselling , fill the choices we want with branches . After somedays result of conselling being anounced for first round admission and after complition of first round admission according to availibility of seats second round counselling round being announced and after second round of UGEAC there is chances for direct BCECE counselling begins for whom who didn't appear in JEE but they appeard in Bihar Enigeering Exam counducted by BCECE. For JEE Students (BOYS - GEN, EWS, OBC) , top three branches of our college have cuttoff around less than 1500 (UR Rank provided from UGEAC counselling).
