Remarks

I had interview before selection. It's a big campus college with great facility ang good faculty. I read it on their website and I found amazing also they were having the course which I was willing to take. It has canteen and a large playground with all playing equipment. The only drawback was it does not have hostels.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose computer science as a stream in the college. I was always fascinated by the computers and coding. I learnt c and html when I was in 12th and also javascript and. Net in 12th . That was the reason I took this as a stream. Also terms were taken very good in college

College is typed with many companies for internship opportunities . I was given opportunity in Alive tech solutions to intern which is at IT park nagpur.

Placement Experience

Placement is good here. Most of the company visits in campus. And hires the students There is also open campus in our college which allows students from other colleges to participate. The college like capgemini infosys come in college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees structure depends on category For me i.e sc student i was giving admission fees every year as 370rs. All category have different fees. There were different scholarship as well as freeship available.

Campus Life

There were different events held over the year. In sankalp, the ganesh festival ,every department conducts their own contest with different imagination. There is sports meet in the month of feb and also cultural events and project display, etc.

Hostel Facilities

No hostel provided . It would be great if there could have been hostel. There were only girls hostel in campus.sStudents who are far from home were forced to live in rooms which they took on rent. But the bus facility was good

Admission

Before admission we each have to go through a complimentary interview just like hr interview in company. It was very good experience. There were different teachers for each student.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Placement cell is quite good. Students are eligible for placement in their last semester of course. There are many great companies that come like JP MORGAN, EY, KPMG. Average package of the college is 5-6 lacs but there are high packages according to the skills of the student. I'd like to go for master's after BMS. Different kind of roles are there for students to apply according to their interests in all the fields like finance, marketing, HR, consulting. There is training provided by the college for placemens and there is personal training for individual company interviews if required by students.

Insightful Vision for Nagpur Institute of Technology

The admission process was offline as the student need to visit the campus physically to complete the admission process. There are both ways like getting admission directly to the college and by the CAP-rounds also. The CAP round admission are done through the MHTCET exam that is conducted by the State of Maharastra. If the student belong to Maharastra state and the domicile is of Maharastra only then they get the concession in the college fee. The admission process starts in the Month of May-June only. Each semester is of 6 months within that there are 2 Mid-sessional papers, 1 Pre-University paper and 1 Internal practical exams is conducted by the college and the Semester exam and the External practical is conducted as per the nagpur university guidelines. Good but students and faculty needs to be improved

I was given MH-CET entrance to get admission. The cutoff was high in comparison to other branches. But I got the eligibility criteria and also had category benefits in the cutoffs. The college itself provided everything from the application form to assisting with the admission process. But as an improvement, I think that multiple forms and repetition should be considered because many people come from very long distances so it should be convenient for them too....Read More
