Admission happens through KCET, Comedk, Management quota. I was admitted through KCET for the computer science and engineering branch in the second round after I get counseling. As soon as we entered the college there were people usually the teaching staff of college standing near the help desk to guide us. As soon as we get allotted to the college we can go with the specified documents required and get admission.

I chose CSE because that was the trending branch and even now. Since I was from a bio background I didn't have much knowledge about coding and programs. We will be having all subjects in the first year in which your core department subject will be one. All the faculty were positive and helped us by clearing our doubts and giving us practical examples of the closing patterns. All faculty members will either be pursuing P.hd or would have already pursued P.hd in their respective subject fields. The exams are not too difficult to score. Of course, our faculty teach us like that. So just need to follow up classes and for every sem exam if you just go through the old question papers and some important concepts then there is no need to worry.

Since I carried out an internship in college I don't know about the companies. I was assigned to design a working model of an attendance system that recognizes face and marks attendance. It has to be carried out individually for which no stipend is paid. It's all about completing the project.

From semester 6 we become eligible to participate in placements. Companies like Capgemini, Infosys, HP, Amazon, Wipro, Cognizant, TCS, First American, HashedIn, Skillvertex, etc visit our campus. The highest package offered is around 10lakhs per annum. And lowest is around 2.5 lakhs. Out of 100, there is a chance of 80 people getting placed. I have decided to work in a company for a few years and should look after my higher studies.

The fees structure consists of two parts: college fees 35k (which includes wifi, library, tuition, etc) and 56k for kect which varies every year. There is no scholarship offered by the college. All scholarships are either from the university or from the Karnataka government. And concessions are given considering the level of the financial crisis of the family. There are many job opportunities available from time to time. I got an offer from Capgemini for an annual income of 3,80,000 and it was the first company since I got into another company later I rejected the offer.

"Chiguru" is the annual fest which happens every year. Celebrities, Singers, Rappers, Politicians, etc are invited to the campus to this occassion. Before announcemnt of this fest there will be a tech fest which happens and it will be intercollegiate. "Intuit" is one among them.Library has a huge collection of books ranging from textbooks, reference books, novels, newspapers, magazines, etc. Every classroom is facilitated with a projector which is actually a basic need in every engineering college. Along with all these sports are encouraged with the not priority where games like football, volleyball, cricket, kabbadi, throwball, badminton, chess carrom, etc are encouraged. There is a cell for Social activity as well where a few of the students and teachers visit orphanages and spend time there and donate rice, grains, spices, clothes, etc. Many workshops are conducted by students for student development on campus.

Girls and boys hostel has accommodation of 3 per room. But the girl's hostel has an attached bathroom, dining area, washing area lift facility. Boy's hostel has common bathrooms with a study area and washing area. They also have a gym facility for a hostel. The food is really tasty and it changes every day and on special occasions, it will be more special. It is healthy and clean. We need to pay fees at the office counter for the hostel and show the bill to the hostel warden and get accommodated.
