MANIT bhopal review

The min age is 18,u have to go through jee mains and get a decent rank to take admission here. as in the year, 2020 the covid19 pandemic was at its peak so all the counselling processes were conducted online. so u have to apply online at the josssa portal there are a total of 6 rounds conducted and if u get a seat in any of the rounds u have to pay the seat acceptance fees and provide some documents and the admission process is over. I would advise u to go for a branch rather than college if your ultimate aim is placement. I didn't join iiitdm Jabalpur due to financial issues.

Faculty student ratio is poor, and the teaching method is also not that great but the faculty members are PhD honours and highly qualified. the exam was on time as it should be and passing was rather not that difficult as the test was conducted online and open book criteria were implemented. but scoring a good cgpa above 8.5 requires great effort be it offline or online and the reason I chose this course is because of the reputation of the college.

Many companies offer internships but they are exclusive for CSE students and only a few of them get it. If you are not from cse then chances of getting an internship are very rare. The stipend offered were around 10000 rs plus variable bonus and the location was also in Bhopal. you have to do work related to programming languages.

Placement generally starts from the 5th and 6th semester but if you are exceptionally good and in cse departement you may get an internship as well. The placement percentage for ee students is around 85, and an avg package of around 7-8 lakh per annum big tech giant companies like amazon, microsoft, goldman sachs, flipkart, etc also visit the college each year. The highest package last year was 42 lakh per annum. in ee some core companies also visit but mostly students prefer it companies for job. I have a keen interest in coding so I think I will try my best to get a job in one of the major tech companies in placement.

Fees are very low compared to other colleges and it depends on your annual income. if your annual income is less than 1lakh per annum u will get a 100% fee waiver. the placement is not that good for electrical but If you are skilled enough you may get a decent package of 12 lakh per annum and the avg is around 7.5 lakh per annum. there is no fee hike and it is completely affordable. if your annual income is between 1-5 lakh per annum then your annual fee is around 40k.

The annual fest of manit is known as maffick and is pretty much a good many famous personality like astha gill has also performed here. sports and curricular activities are also up to the point here but if u want to enjoy to the fullest u should opt for the hostel, day scholar didn't get enough time to participate in these events. there are many clubs (technical, cultural, sports etc.) to join and student also has a social group known as prayas which is under the community service cell of manit. The infrastructure is not that good but still, it's better than other colleges of Bhopal. Libraries are also not up to the point as the college is pretty much old and night studying is also not allowed. The classroom has a good infrastructure and you will love it.
