Honest review of Nit jamshedpur

I graduated from nit jamshedpur in 2020 and my branch my electrical and communication engineering.I belong to obc category and my jee mains rank was 17000 so I got the scholarship of 67% on my tution fees because my annual income was less than 6 lakhs.U have to give jee mains exam and after that attend josaa counseling for seat allocation.

My course was electrical and communication engineering from nit jamshedpur.I had chosen this course because there are too much placement opportunities in this branch either you can take placement in core or non core both options are open.Teacher are PhD qualitied from IITs.They take exam very often

In college many companies visit like Amazon, Microsoft for the internship programs and they select only toppers.They give stipend off approx 1000 dollars and you are pre placed in that company but their way to selection Is very tough and in the first round itself they reject maany students

From 5th semester onwards company starts visiting for internships and they give pre placement offer if you qualify for all their tests. And from 7th semester all companies visit college for placement and conduct various round for selecting students. In my branch approx 95% students placed of a highest package of 37 lakhs

There is approx 10% hike in college fees but they also give scholarship.If u belong to obc,sc,st category and your annual income is less than 1 lakh you will get a 100% scholarship on your tuition fees and if your parent's annual income is less than 5 lakhs you will get 67% scholarship on your tuition fees.And scholarship are also awarded on the basis of your College cgpa.

Nit Jamshedpur conducts culfest,ojass like annual and tech fest. There is a library available in the college itself and all engineering and educational books are there. They conduct all sports and if you want to build a career in sports they will provide a great opportunity.

In the room, they give one bed and a table and from 2nd year onwards u will get balcony rooms. Mess is providing too good food and they provide a 4-time meal to you. If u want to rent a room u will surely get there and they are much affordable than college hostels and mess, but I will suggest taking college hostels only.

The process of admission is very easy.Firstly, you have to give jee mains exam which is conducted by nta in various cities and have to score good marks as there is much competition. And after then you have to attend josaa counseling which is online and have to choose your college and branch according to your list and after this, they will allot branch according to your list
