DAV College sec.10 Chandigarh, SD college sec.32 Chandigarh I didn't get admission to these. Colleges because their cut-off is too high. Students will get admission according to their rank and there is no. Age for admission.

Course Curriculum Overview

I have an interest in commerce Line. The faculty members are highly knowledgeable and well qualified and make classes very interactive and their teaching methods are also very nice. They ensure to complete our syllabus on time, also take our mid-term exams on time.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 27300 per year

Placement Experience

So there is a career counseling and placement cell in the college. And many institutions like peal academy, and bull eye academy, etc. come and give guidance to the students for further career opportunities and plannings.

Fees and Financial Aid

As the fees of this college change every year but it ranged between 24,000 - 28,000 and also it depends upon the course of the student ( it differs from course to course ). Right now I didn't get any scholarship.

Campus Life

Annual sports fest and there is mata pita diwas , basant fest, etc. All types of books are available in the library. There are smart classrooms. All types of sports are available. And there are many clubs like red ribbon club, D masters club, NCC, NSS, Rotaract club, and many more.

Curriculum is not hard ofcourse but it's pretty old fashioned and non modernistic . No technology inculcation in the curriculum. Difficulty level is not much . There should be modernisation of the curriculum. More technology inclusion . More tech based learning . More practical education.

THE LIFE AT DAV COLLEGE

Placement Experience:

We do have a training and placement cell which is run mostly run by both students and teachers. Students with good percentile can sit for placements and can get place into companies which are mostly from BPO and sales background. Students are eligible for campus placements in their 5th semester. Companies which have came in our college in 2024-2025 are Sri ram insurance , Kotak insurance , Planet spark , De shaw , Zomato etc. Highest package offered is around 5 LPA and average package is around 1.5 LPA. I have planned to go for higher studies after my graduation, most probably I will be doing MBA.

From 5th semester onwards students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like tech mahindra, airtel, delloitte,etc visited for campus Placements. The highest package this year was 9 Lakhs. And average package this year was 6 lakhs. Near around 97% students got campus placement. After getting degree my plan is to opt for MBA in finance from a good reputed college .
