Entrance Preview

I had scored 75% in 12th Science, Gujarat Board. First Year -2005. No specific exams was needed to be given in 2005 for BE courses.

Course Curriculum Overview

It was very generic course, as my college had been a part of Gujarat university, course & subjects were as per Gujarat University. but honestly, it was all theoretical knowledge, not really result & research oriented. Practical labs were also not that useful.

Internships Opportunities

No, Its a big no they did not provide any internship or helped student. We tried & found internship companies on our own, my 8th Semester training was done at HCL, Infosys , I had good exp overall there.

Placement Experience

As I was pioneer batch student (college started in 2005 & i took admission in the same year), when we passed in 2009, no placements happened. no companies came, but from 3rd batch onward, LDRP ranked good in placements. So now they have placement officer which was not there in our times.

College Events

Robotic fares used to be happened each year. cultural nights too. Those 3-4 days, used to have many events & fun time. List and discuss about the events celebrated in your college I don't remember names for all events. So cant write but yes, this is best part, they used have dancing, fashion show, best out of waste, plays, singing competition.

Fees and Financial Aid

LDRP did not have tie up for Scholarship program, if they have now, I don't know, but was not giving scholarships in our times. Third party loans were available & could be easily availed by few of our friends.

Campus Life

Gender ratio was generic, good in CE & EC, it is 60-40% girls-boys, bad in Civil & Mechanical streams - 90-10% ratio boys-girls. No bars or decriminalisation in religion, It was completely based on govt rules. Workshops / Robotic competitions/ cultural activities.

Admission

There was a central committee to get in for engineering streams. It was not an ONLINE era, so we have to reach physically to admission place, wait whole days & select the seats as per availability in our choice of colleges. I got admission through central process only.

Life at LDCE: A Student's Perspective

Course Curriculum Overview:

As we all know , college learning is not only about textbooks, and real world knowledge is equally important. in this area, the college supports student well by giving exposure to practical learning . the course includes industry related topics, and teachers also try to explain how concepts are used in real life. the curriculum is helpful, but adding more modern tools, software and hands on projects would make it even better. Overall, the syllabus prepares student for future jobs and higher studies, while still leaving some room for improvement.

balanced with learning and challenges

Placement Experience:

the placement at vgec at decent, especially considering it is a government college with very low fees. student become eligible for campus placement from the 6 th and the main placement drives begin in the 7 th and 8 th semesters. many well known compnies visit the camppus every tear for software , core engineering and management roles. compnies like TCS, infosys, wipro , taat consultancy, adani, gsfc,and a few stertup hire students from different branches. the number of offers varies every year , but the overall trend is improving . some companies offer multiple job roles such as software engineer , QA engineering , embendede engineering , trainee engineering and analyst position . higher pacage is 5 lacks. after completing my degree , i plan to focus on improving my technical skills .

Decent college with room to grow

Placement Experience:

studemts become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester.The placement acitivity keeps happening throghout the final year.companies like TCS,Tata LTIindtree,wipro and few local startup like tcs and ltimindtree and the avg pakage stays on the lower sidw compared to big private colleges,The opporrinties are there ,but not as many as we expect. the percnatage of stundents getting placed depends a lot on the batch ,but it's definitely not 100%. A good number of students get interships or jobs their own efforts also,beacuse some companies dont visit every year.if a student if genuinely working on skills and projects,they can manage to get something , but the college placements alone might not be enough for evryone. after completing my degree, l plan to work on my technical skills and try for better opportunities throgh of campus options as well.i don't want to depend only on the on capus placements.my goal is to build a good portfolio so i can apply to bigger companies later.

My Life at D.D.I.T

Placement Experience:

The placement are one of the best in Gujarat for chemical engineering as the average package is on the higher side, at 6,50,000 and the highest package has reached 16,00,000. - students are eligible from the 7th semester for placement - some companies that have visited are Reliance Atul Bear L&T G.S.F.C Etc - around 70% of the batch was placed last year. - my plan is to prepare for Gate examination after/around my graduation.

i choose this college mainly because of its good faculty , decent placement records , and ragging free environment.The fees are also affordable compared to other private colleges making it a good option. I had applied for few other colleges through ACPC counseling , but due to cutoff differences and seat availability , i couldn't secure admission in those colleges. Great experience in College Life

I choosed this college because it is well known and also near to my relatives house so that whenever I don't feel like to be in hostel i can go there. Other reasons for choosing this college is it's name, Many told me that the education in this college is best. The faculties that teaches here are best and they don't have any ego problems.
